I pre-ordered back in February. Not only did they not even ship my copy of TMML, I wasn’t eligible to participate in the contest? Now I need to buy the CD again for the in store? About to cancel my pre-order and enjoy the free DL.

You’d have to call their customer support line and go through that whole process. I’ll tell you what, shit better have some 3D hologram cover going on when, or IF, if gets to me. I bet they send pre-orders out backwards. The newest orders ship before the oldest.

“wristbands will be given out on a first come, first served basis, when album purchased.” does this mean there will be a limited amount of wristbands? what if they sell out of the c.d.? I thought it was gonna be free?

This really sucks.  It’s shitty that they usually take 3 weeks to ship stuff out, and I kinda got the same impression that newer orders went out first, which is sort of a fuck you to the customer, even if it’s unintended.  I get why they take so long to get stuff out — because they aren’t a huge label, they’re independent etc — and I also get why the record store has such a bullshit policy, but it still leaves some feeling they’d be better off just stealing it from Arghhh! [is it even still around?] or by searching for ghosts. [Yes, I’m trying to be cryptic; I’m not entirely sure what the “piracy” rules of the board are in regards to “suggesting”/mentioning various pirating venues.]

I did.  HG is generally late with pre-orders [and might possibly be to get you to buy another copy; however, it might just as well be because they are a relatively small, independent label] and a lot of times ICP have great plans with a few wrinkles, which overall can kinda hamper the freshness of whatever the plan is.
