Im not talking just because there “underground.” ICP blew up in the late 90s and then they quietly went their own way. Now even after all of this time their always on the top of the billboard whenever a new CD debuts. But no one says anything in magazines, tv, or even online. Every once and a while you get an artcle on a mainstream outlet, and nowadays the only exposure theve been getting is either negative or a joke. (SNL Skits, Nightline appearace). I just feel the music industry completley writes them off. Vendetta against ICP? Illuminati? ooooohh. Just kidding guys.

back in the 90s ICP was a shock value group like Marilyn Manson and shit like that, so their name brought alot of negativity..
.once they signed twiztid and their record label grew more and more, mtv never wanted to really promote an indy label that was making money without their help, when icp and twiztid were on island records..island had a relationship with mtv so they would get them to play icp and twiztid videos wherever they could, once it was all psy produced, no one wants to help cuz they aint getting paid..
.the mainstream only promotes and helps wat puts money into their pockets…record labels paid for tv channels back in the day to play their music videos…the music video channel got big ratings, made money off commerical air time and the record labels went platinum and both were successful as a team…
when u have a strong independant label like psy, subnoize, strangemusic…they dont give them help cuz it doesnt make them money only psy and the noize benifit…so dont ever expect to see tech n9ne gettin mad love on mainstream tv or radio cuz he has his own company and the mainstream doesnt benifit from him.
and ICP didnt get as big as other shock rappers like Eminem becuz of the juggalos wanting to keep it underground…remember the rudy day or watever the fuck during bizzar bizzar to get ICP on TRL???
that was a big moment for juggalos cuz every message board was sayin fuck that!!! while the other half of juggalos went hell ya, lets take it to the bigtime…we voted and got ICP on TRL and jumpsteady was with mad juggalos in new york waiting outside carsons window to rep ICP being on the countdown, MTV pulled it from the countdown and it never happened..i still have my vhs tapes from whenever kmk, icp or twiztid were on tv and it was so cool back then, even we dont die was on the box top 10 countdowns for videos, good times…now we are stuck on the net

i understand the whole “most hated band in the world” thing, in the 90s it was about being angry, depressed and alot of music was oriented to that style with groups like korn, staind, godsmack, etc…
ICP was so creative, innovative and were so talented that i feel they should get more recongnition for their work and how successful they are…we the fans see that and thats why we are here on their fansite…icp makes really difficult music than the critics really see, they can put a movie onto cd with their classic intros and skits. they have the coolest merch, logos, etc..they are pure entertainers not critically acclaimed rappers. we love the music, the movies, the comic books, posters, its somethin that will never be duplicated
im glad the juggalo scene is still alive cuz the back catalog is magic!
the internet is cool cuz we can play instantly watever we want & we are able to get new stuff all the time but on the other hand the internet has really made the quality of music videos go down, and anyone can do it….when ICP had videos like “another love song”, “tilt a whirl” and “lets go all the way” those were high quality mini movies with a budget.

I completley understand why they arnt mainstream. Ive been aware of ICP since 2000, wouldnt say “juggalo” for that long, but I was a fan for the last 10 years. When you had Manson/Korn/Bizkit/Slipknot/ICP in the late 90s/early 2000s (when I started getting into them with that whole era of music), I get why they had a slight push into the mainstream, the shock-value. Im just talking about now. Since they are STILL doing thir thing, and STILL selling cds with no radio or advertising. The internet and youtube are the new TV. Thank god for FUSE TV though, great job on picking up ICP. serriously they are comedy gold, and its cool they see that. So yea its just a thought. I also wonder why they dont get picked up for tours with other bands from that era, or do festivals. Plenty of nostolgia tours have gone on, throw ICP on one.

its hard for the major labels to swallow their pride and admit the music bizz is dead for major labels…its better to be indy and small.
ICP always had the 60,000 people buying cds and its kept them afloat for so many years cuz they utilized the money back into their music, not just buying houses, cars and jewelry…
they kept givin their 60,000 of us new cds and cool merch. they still sell the same cds as they did back in the day and they are doing fine, while major labels waste millions of dollars on projects and need to sell 20 million to make it back and give the whole label a paycheck…they bet big and get nothing back, its their fault, they cant accept that the market of music fans is smaller,
its more about pop culture and social media and who has the most twitter followers, lol fuck twiiter i cant even find my friends on their and the profiles all look like fake pages…some of these mainstream rappers sell the same as an ABK or kaliko cd which shows how bad music selling. girls support their artists like adelle, gaga, spears, beyonce, usher becuz they make girl music..
guys were the main bread and butter for the music bizz…music was never more successful than it was in 2000 to 2003 cuz young males had music we liked everywhere and we bought the cd. now its all r and b and love songs and dudes wont buy the cd….when we turned on tv and saw bizkit, korn, zombie, godsmack, roach, linkin park we said hell ya thats cool thats different ill buy that..theres no more rock music or rap that guys and guys only can like
..most labels dont even pay for videos anymore..record labels aint really needed anymore when u can post shit on youtube, book ur own shows and make money that may not be millions but enough to be a paid musician.

music was so agressive in the late 90s early 2000s with the emerge of nu metal groups like bizkit, korn, papa roach, godsmack, etc…they all went like 5x platinum and some a whole lot more!!!! music was big…
but now its all being covered under a blanket and no one wants to give that era of music credit, recongition and it sucks. i hate seeing nostalgic tours for rock music in the 80s, and the grunge era…
i wish i could have a nostalgic tour of the after Cobain era…godsmack, korn, slipknot, etc…woodstock 99 has left a bad taste in the industrys mouth and we are payin the price. i respect the older bands but the music from my generation is always skipped over…icp was in the boat with all those bands cuz they didnt fit with the dmx, jayz, hotboyz style of rap….
rap rock was dope as hell when i was young and i wish we could see those bands get 2gether. some have…but not enough

Probably because they couldn't use ICP properly for their hidden agendas and money making schemes.
but.. more likely it was because of their frequencies. Ever since those days in their youth those entities between realms have been protecting them and guiding them.. from Picker Forest to the Monastery.. ICP carry with them extremely negative and positive flux in their vibes due to the sensitive area they grew up in. The Otherside saw potential and manifested itself through various mediums..
have you all had any night terrors upon discovering the ICP? The Dark Carnival or more than a marketing scheme comrades..
It's a form of Magick.. and the question is.. can you carry that weight? Is your will strong enough to control the energies you've welcomed into your lives?
Yessssssssssssssssssss… me too. Beware the youth.. for they know not what they do.. but shall still do.

radio in 90s was more aggressive with music content
nirvana showed that pop music had a spot for young and angry kids…this ushered in your rap rock nu metal movement with bizkit and korn, etc….ICP was in the middle of that and hip hop…controversy was a big seller in the 90s
if it worked they sold it all day!!!!
the boybands and girl pop singers always sell alot more, but they gave us the icps, the slipknots but now radio is all about Pop, clean music, dance music and all about love….its not about being angry and theres no room on a label for that stuff anymore….record labels and especially the radio are happy that music is all bubblegummy and clean oriented instead of worrying about pist off parents mad their kid bought an ICP cd or a slipknot and they got angry ass teenagers at home. now kids are pumped with bubblegum fantasies about this so called “club” world and “love”

lol exactly ICP was barely accepted into MTV during the “music video” area in the late 90s…icps music was weird and not considered “cool” but damn visually “lets go all the way” is a dope ass music video!! the song is cool as hell too.
but i dont get mad when people bash them on SNL with the “underground rap” news skit where they nailed how fucking annoying and lame sugar slam and them are, they make us feel stupid with all these juggalo catch phrases like “fresh” and “wig splittin” hahaha, miracles was the nail in the coffin for ICP ever getting another chance
