See that’s the thing tho, MEC has never came out and specifically said he’s not on psy, nor j or shaggy. But I do find it weird mec hasn’t been at shows or mentioned. J is good for letting alot of shit “speculate” maybe they weren’t happy with what he was producing, who knows. Now they are seeing what twiztid is releasing/has released abominationz/darkness it’s time for em to step it up and I think they’re showing that on this EP. I’m excited for what’s dropping in 2015. I think a part of me would be upset that MEC didn’t produce it, but another part of me would be happy too. Another piece of flavor if you go listen to bpb, mdp and house of wax is that, MEC adds echos and delays to lyrics that make them actually sound like older icp. You can hear a big difference in tracks produced/mixed by people other than MEC.
As long as the production is up to par with house of wax or better I’m all for MEC. Icp gotta pay mec man, that’s there “spark” and “magic” unless they truly used another producer and found there niche with them i’d be suprised.
