well considering at the end of the 3 headed monster show they stated shaggy the airhead is signed to psy.. expect to hear more deveraux & airhead on the 6th…
I remember hearing a rapper say he refuses to rap to music/beats he doesnt love.. ICP sound like theyre just trying to fill an album..

I’ve always felt that with the right environment, ICP still have that “timeless classic album” within them. Something that combines all the wonders and highlights of their past work but with their trademark surprise factor that they always come with. Because say what you will about their music, but they have never ever ever released something that was completely expected. For better or worse, the new shit never sounds how we fully expect it to. This give them the freedom to continuously flip wigs, as it were.
The way it looks lately, personal issues will likely prevent the guys from releasing that timeless album. But in an alternate universe, it is about to drop in July 2023, and the end of time consumes us all, there.

J has a hardon for shitty underground producers. I can understand if they’re good, but they aren’t. I honestly want an MEC / MIKE P collab on the last 2. I want to see what these guys can do together. Mike P still makes good shit. And MEC’s beats just sound better on icp. If they use airhead and the other dude for the last set that’s a smack to the face for real.

Agreed on all that.
Would be nice to have like a triple album for the final card, produced by the best of all their history in music. Mike E Clark, Mike P, Esham, Kuma, maybe even a Seven joint or two. Some Shaggy scratching. Violent J smoking weed and running again, like when he rapped those excellent, memorable bars around the Wraith era. Tasteful guest stars, but not oversaturated ad nauseum. Clean, memorable beats.
Who knows

Every beat Mike P has made in the last 10 years is total dogshit

No way ICP would be willing to shell out for what it takes to have a real professional producer. I think Devereaux and Shaggy The Airhead aren’t ALL bad and have both had some cool beats, but there’s a lot of inconsistency and some of their mixing skills in terms of actual production are lacking at times in a way nobody else has ever failed ICP before.
Ideally, with the next card being the sixth and given that Mike E Clark was oddly not part of that the first go-around, they’ll have MEC come back for redemption this time (if they pay him properly). If he’s not going to be doing the full album, I do think he should at least be brought in for the more key tracks like the intro and self-titled track that always sets up the Joker Cards, and then maybe like at least 1 other along the way and the album closer.
If no or limited MEC, then I’d like to hear from their more consistent high quality producers. Seven, Mike P, and Kuma being the main culprits.

i’m gonna keep saying it, we need a whole album produced by Kuma. Like you said, the guy is consistent with the quality of his beats.
I really do like a lot of shaggytheairhead and devereaux’s beats cus I am into the whole stripped back, simplistic, hard trap instrumental thing, but I think very few of their tracks fit with ICP’s style. Most are just too slow

Yes, I’d absolutely be down for a full Kuma album. I feel like he really “gets” what was so cool about some of the more old school ICP while still making things sound fresh and new for them.

If we’re talkin Carnage.. the worst beats were made by esham(blacken yo eyes) & Mike clark (the juggla) miller’s worst beat is prolly (Nighty of the axe) which a lot of people like..
clearly back when the album was made miller was milking them for all the time/money he could get out of them, due to their inexperience.. that wouldnt be the case anymore..
