Personally I think ICP should sign SnowThaProduct she is my favorite in the game today I also would like Cold187um to come back I actually liked is old stuff better. I love that attention is going away from ICP and that label right now. I kind of feel like they need it creatively. Being in the underdog spot is where they thrive. Not to mention, I can’t help but feel like a whole lot of artists on that label is another way of saying “a whole lot of Violent J ‘yes men'”.
However lol, if we’re playin this game, GrewSum. Every album that guy has done sounds like the album before he should have gotten signed.

I’d be cool with nova. I been tweeting with her since i heard people were harassing her about the gathering and she seems cool and some of her songs ain’t bad. I think she’s already got a decent sized audience though and doesn’t really need their help.
Since whoever signs up on psy becomes sort of part of the overall label as well as an act on the label, I’d love to have ho99o9 sign. I think it’d make a really cool shift in the general production styles of everybody on the label and I think they could learn a lot from icp though I think they’d be better with MNE if that ever becomes a thing, or just out on their own, or signing to someone else. Whatever.
I’d kinda like them to sign me as a visual artist but they’ve never fucked with that kind of art and even if they did I think there are other people who they’ve worked with in the past who would get the first shot at that.
If they wanna go with someone who they used to look up to, i’d be down for that too. I didn’t like Cold 187ums album because it felt really forced and the beats were all recycled. I wanted to hear some new shit. Would have loved to have him come with something I hadn’t heard yet. he’s from my hometown so I was super excited when he got signed.

ICP has already explained that they are focused on releasing ICP’s music. Signing an artist wouldn’t matter because Psychopathic will not promote them like it does ICP. I’d rather hear just ICP on psychopathic anyways…noone does what they do.

I think the bigger question here is why must you have a gimmick to sign for PSY records? I almost think ICP is a bit stuck in the past… they figure they blew up because of the gimmick they created so they make anyone who signs for them have one as well. I could be wrong but I think most people these days want artists to have good talent… not a good gimmick.
