Howdy Ho Juggs!

Just wondering if anybody knows who does the Artwork for the Jokers Cards? Graphic Designer myself so have a mad curiosity for who creates them, searched Google for about 45 minutes, found a couple of Yahho Answers saying Shaggy (quite vague though), just wondering if anybody else has some proper info?

yeah, best of my knowledge, shaggy draws the initial design, then it gets handed off to whoever for cleanup.

mightve been exceptions, but i understand thats the usual way it goes.

I read that he did the hatchetman ye, supposedly on a napkin originally LOL, couldn’t find a pic anywhere, nothin was as digitised back then I suppose so we have no idea for sure!

In behind the paint J says shaggy drew a picture of the crazy neighborhood paper boy that had dreads, and psychopathic was almost called “crazy paper boy records” then he drew him with a meat clever instead, they changed it to psychopathic and the rest is history.. something along those lines. If everyone would read behind the pain there wouldn’t be so many of these threads..

That’s how I always figured it went. Didn’t Shaggy do the Dark Carnival logo? He has a knack for eye fetching simplicity. Lines and design are definitely being filtered through a professional though. Wouldn’t take much to make a rough image look 100X sharper with all the art programs available.
