the old message boards were full of people who were down 2 discuss the musical side of things and state their opinions, people just want us to kiss their butt on here and say "i love anything with their face or name on it".
When Bizaar/Bizzar dropped a lot of juggalos were pissed at what they were hearing and weren't afraid to express it. Didn't help ICP's case either when they were selling out in their music by going soft and begging juggalos to get them on TRL. Anyone remember 'Seeds of the Lotus'? When ICP treated fan site webmasters like VIP's and flew them out for meetings and all that? Basically paying them off to tell juggalos to get them on TRL. That tore a lot of the scene apart too. The B/B era was the first era juggalos and ICP weren't seeing eye to eye anymore. It was a weird time for sure. Then it got weirder going in to the Lotus era with J becoming obese and medicated and making weird decisions like adding Marz to Dark Lotus.
But to stay on topic lol, the comics were at least a cool part of that era. Especially at first when they were giving away dropped AJB tracks. The Pendulum was originally supposed to be an entire album that fit together with 12 tracks over 12 months over 12 issues. With the songs and comics being the same story. A precursor album to Dark Lotus. But like everything, they lost interest or something and it just became random songs and the end album was just a compilation. Didn't help I suppose that the comic series also took over two years to complete and Chaos Comics was barely staying in business. Would have been an awesome concept had they pulled it off. Well if you go back and read the Pendulum series just imagine an ICP song for each issue as you read it.

i think bizzar bizzar are really good. you get that classic wicked shit and comedy together. violent j seemed like he was full of ideas on those albums. "take me away" is like the dark carnival anthem. "tilt a whirl" is one of icps best singles, the music video was good quality. i get a lot of juggalos didnt like it, that was the start of it. but when u look back now, they are strong albums especially compared to BPB, MDP which juggalos are complaining more than ever lol. we were spoiled to think bizaar is so terrible,
same goes for "shangri la", that is a magical cd. the 6th was never gonna satisfy everyone cuz it had so much hype and we all had our own vision of wat it would be, but J delivered. i think "hells pit" was a major let down. i didnt like the majority of the beats at all, especially "bowling balls" and "walk into the darkness". shangri la's "Hells Forcast" was more wicked than all of "hells pit" put 2gether. hells pit didnt have a lot of playback tracks. "ravens mirror" was better than most tracks on hells pit, thats just my opinion. i bought hells pit twice for the 2 dvds lol

I bought both versions of Shagri-La and Hell's Pit too, I'm sure we weren't the only ones. The 3-D movie for Bowling Balls was a cool little movie, but the 3-D effect never came thru for me. I wish the glasses they came with weren't the kind you had to hold to your face the entire time, shit got annoying real quick for me. Might have been my T.V. though. I thought Hell's Pit was great, I don't know about all the artwork on the cover with "The most shocking album ICP ever made" and the "R+ : Extremely Restricted" all over it, it wasn't any worse than the shit they say all the time. I liked Bizaar/Bizzar too, shit was fresh for the most part.

It wasn't a hard cover. I owned it. It was all the Pendulum comics in one big ass book though. Came with the LP of all the songs (minus Rydas).
