I think this is a legit question. I dont think it would be much different but think about how they piggy backed off of the whole disney fiasco. It definitely gave them exposure and if im not mistaken, led to the eventual creation and airing of the shockumentary on mtv. Which in turn led to vids being played on the box.
I might not be a juggalo right now if I wouldnt have seen the twiztid and icp vids on the box. Who knows? You can drive yourself crazy thinking of what coulda been

I remember being 11 or 12 seeing let’s go all the way and we don’t die all over the box. I talked about them a lot to the point where my brother gave me his jeckle brothers cd. He was never a juggalo but always liked the different sound the clowns had.

I first heard of ICP when that record got pulled, on MTV News no less. Was at a friends house and his girlfriend was watching some bullshit show on MTV and I happened to see the announcement. I was like, I gotta learn more about these dudes, and I picked up the CD the weekend after when I got paid. I’ve been down with the clown ever since. I always thought, that since I never watched MTV, and never bought weed from the due who’s house I was at (My regular dealer was on vacation or whatever), so I always just thought in my head that I was meant to be there to see that at the time.
So, in answer to your question, I would like to think I would’ve found ICP somehow, but who knows when that may have been. I’m sure a lot of juggalos found out about ICP the same way that I did. Thanks Disney, you evil corrupt bastards

@patjoyce , Yeah, sounds like it was meant to be.
It took my wife 3 tries to get me to listen to ICP. I kept saying I didn’t like them even though I had never heard them. Finally I sat down and listened to Milenko and was hooked. I became a total Juffalo – went out and bought everything I could find over the next few weeks and starting claiming Juggalo without really knowing anything about it. This was way back when I was like 26 or 27. I am now going on 43. Kinda, glad I finally sat down and listened cause I probably would have been a hater with no knowledge of what I was hating. I feel like the music took me down a path that changed my life (for the better I hope.) and probably kept my wife married to me. Not sure how my wife got into them, but I think she started with Milenko right before we got married. Anyways… That’s my story of how I became down with the clown.

I would not be a JUGGALO if it was not for the whole Disney shelve pulling! I saw a MTV news spot or whatever you called them…They would show a news story on mtv every hour or half hour something like that back in the day…Anyway they showed the icp album being pulled so i saw that and heard a sample of the track hall of illusions in the story. So i was like fuck this im going to the mall to see if they had any left on the shelves and they had one cassette tape left so i coped it went home listened to it and became a JUGGALO from that day forward… Converted 4 of my friend into JUGGALOS the next day!.. I did hear the riddle box before that and thought ICP was eating people for real… I was like what the fuck is this shit. I was scared as shit of icp… And at the time didnt even know i was listening to ICP til a few years later. After listen to Milenko riddle box became fresh to me…lol. So i think ICP would of not became as popular without the Disney thing…. I think they would of completed there six cards on psychopathic and ended or maybe changed there styles to not be clowns… Or got jobs at Mcdonalds or some place lol…
