I’m glad that both happened. In the No Jumper one I was a bit irritated by Shaggy’s energy. He couldn’t shut up for a consecutive 20 seconds. Always interrupting J. I guess he’s just making up for the years of it being the other way around.

In hindsight it was pretty hilarious how disregardful he was in that interview. Unwrapping sweets, yelling across the room to get his backpack to get more sweets, throwing sweets he doesn’t like at his homie, lol.

He still had that energy in the Vlad interview but I felt it wasn’t that bad. I was pretty disappointed by Vlad, though. He likes to dig deep, yet he asked them all the exact same questions that they get asked in every interview. The Eminem beef, the gang label, Disney stuff, etc. I dunno. I guess he also likes to start at the beginning and then have a rundown of their whole career and these things are obviously part of it. But still, was hoping for more. For example, I was really hoping he’d ask them about the Killjoy Club album. It’s pretty cool to have a supergroup with (quasi-)three 6 mafia given how huge they’ve become, yet nobody ever brings that up. And DJ Paul and Vlad are pretty close apparently, he has him on all the time and they say they are friends. Oh well. I hope they’ll go back on so they can talk about different stuff now that all the standard questions are out of the way (hopefully).

I was really hoping for another Sway interview, though. I really liked their dynamic with him in the first one but unfortunately during the first one they were promoting the march. Now, that may or may not have been a worthy cause (depending on your view on it) but it’s not really an interesting topic to hear about as an insider. They ended it with “we gotta have you back on and talk about music” and “this is only the beginning of us” or something. I’m not holding my breath, but I do hope they go back on there and just talk about whatever.

I don’t think we necessarily need someone with a juggalo background. I agree that we should get someone who actually knows how to interview them and get some answers to the shit juggalos have been wondering about for years now.

The more I think about it, the more I think having a JUGGALO conduct the interview might be a mistake. Because there is going to be some bias there. I just don’t think there’s a way around that. It’s better to have someone a bit more removed from all the bullshit that’s been going on. Reduces any possible conflict of interest, ya know?

We need someone knowledgable – or at least able to do research and figure out what juggalos actually want to fucking know about – but not someone involved or that’s already “chosen a side” or whatever bullshit.
