TOTAL FAIL

MEC is the only one talanted enough to do it. The 6th SUCKED music wise. Same shit over and over. MEC should be the only one

I feel where your coming from but your wrong that MEC is the only one talented enough to do it.  I agree Mike P on the 6th just fuckin sucked, IMO they shouldn’t have even done the 6th until they made things right with MEC.

Abominationz was the shit, top notch production all the way through. That being said, MEC is the one and only ICP producer that matters.

Thanks freezie.  I would kill a fuckin jokers card if J ever gave me the freedom to do so, no bullshit.

Thanks for speaking up punk rock, dude was putting words in my mouth and you caught it.  I appreciate that.  Fired or quit was an in general statement cause I’m not sure how everyone went out, I stayed in the pod and didn’t venture out much.

I don’t think me and a monkey should do anything but hang out and eat bananas.

I’ve seen a grown man break down to Homies, with his homies. I miss my homies and I see my homies under the same black cloud and it makes me miss them more. Misery loves company, and I love my homies.

Plus I liked Shangri-La and just about all the remixes from that album sucked.

No it was one of my homies. That same exact homie once dropped a joint on the train as I was talking to him and I even looked straight down and stared at it but he didn’t even notice until he left. Not going to say his name, probably use too many pronouns on this sight as it is.

So I have a couple questions for you Joe. I haven’t been here for a while, but i’m interested in this.

1.) Why won’t ICP go outside the box and go back to the darker themed cd’s or use more darker beats? What’s with all this synthy feel type shit in there songs? I always believed since MEC been back, that we’re not getting that darker sound in there songs, even the guitars don’t smash as hard as AJB. To say that MEC isn’t good anymore is an understatement (not saying you said it) I believe what he’s making is trash. I just don’t understand how he can go from the first 5 cards, to shit like the death pop and BPB. It blows my mind. It’s like where are all the good fucking beats? When he left psy he did that album with Prozak (Project Deadman) which was fucking dope! I’m totally confused as to why he won’t make darker stuff. Did you ever bring that up to J in the studio or try to get him to do anything darker?

2.) Are there any hidden tracks that maybe you produced for ICP in the “Vault” lol

3.) Since you started working with Twiztid what’s your favorite (released or unreleased track you worked on with them)?

Pretty shitty they let you go, but who cares, J doesn’t deserve to have you on that label or behind the scenes, dudes a glorified money machine.

I also say everything from, boondox’s album, blaze, and all the icp shit he produced just sucked. I think the closest sound we’ve gotten to an old school ICP record was Wicked Hellaween a few years ago for hallowicked. That half empty half full song and they shootin was dope from Shaggy’s solo cd though. MEC needs to quit being a puss tho and start makin shit that sounds better.

I thought the closest to an ICP sound on MDP was Forever, When I’m Clownin, and Hate her to death (i know alot of people hate this but it really did have an old school flavor mixed with some new shit IMO)

Exactly. Both Wraiths are awesome. I guess my ears aren’t specially attuned to the apparent lameness that mike p sears into the shangri la record. Im not a professional listener and hip hop critiquist like Warlock (sorry to bring you into this dawg, but youre a perfect example of an elitist).

What is it that im lacking in my overall understanding of Insane Clown Posse jokers card beats? Please help me, oh Music Gods!

Your asking the wrong Joe that question bro, only J knows the answer to that one, gathering seminar anyone?

What’s with all this synthy feel type shit in there songs?

No fuckin clue?

I always believed since MEC been back, that we’re not getting that darker sound in there songs, even the guitars don’t smash as hard as AJB.

If you believe that then you also must believe that J picks the beats so he is equally responsible for the onslaught of lighter tracks.

To say that MEC isn’t good anymore is an understatement  Mike IS still good.

I believe what he’s making is trash.  To each there own.

I just don’t understand how he can go from the first 5 cards, to shit like the death pop and BPB.

He who?  Mike or J?   Cause J picked all that music. Mike just produces for J and we all know shit changed when Mike left after the 5th.  Its never been the same sense.  I don’t really understand either but thats EXACTLY what I wanted to change at Psychopathic when I got there.

It blows my mind. It’s like where are all the good fucking beats?

Either not being made or not being picked, in my opinion.

When he left psy he did that album with Prozak (Project Deadman) which was fucking dope! I’m totally confused as to why he won’t make darker stuff.

Again, who knows?

Did you ever bring that up to J in the studio or try to get him to do anything darker?

I never brought it up but just about every beat I gave him of mine was super fuckin dark.

Are there any hidden tracks that maybe you produced for ICP in the “Vault” lol

No.

Since you started working with Twiztid what’s your favorite (released or unreleased track you worked on with them)?

Lift me up, I don’t know if it was because it was the first song I did with them or if it was because we spent so much time mixing it but that song has stuck to me. I was just bumping it on the way home from the studio tonight actually.

Pretty shitty they let you go, but who cares, J doesn’t deserve to have you on that label or behind the scenes, dudes a glorified money machine.

Hey man, honestly, Im really happy to have been there and I was ready to move on anyways.  Thank you homie! Thats some fuckin love right there!

Hey @JoeStrange great replies. Wanted to thank you for your candor and if possible, fire off a question of my own.

A few years back PSY asked for mail-in submissions to be added to the “Karma Wall” at the PSY compound. I’d seen a few older shots of the wall, and I did mail something in. I’ve always wondered about the fate of the drawings/pictures that were sent in. If it’s not unprofessional to reveal, and you are comfortable speaking on this, I was wondering…

Were the mail-in Karma Wall submissions added to the wall? Follow up: How big was the collage when you last saw it?

I’m honestly just curious. If you can’t speak on issues like this, no sweat. I totally understand. Regardless, Have a good one, hope to be hearing more of your work in the near future.

How big was the collage when you last saw it?

Its two full walls.  Tons of shit.  I have stared at it a lot, any time you look at it you wind up standing there for like at least 10 minutes, I personally liked looking at all the titties :D   Do you have pics of what you sent in?  I might be able identify them, if not you could try explaining what they were.  Is one of them a little kid with a mullet and a sub machine gun?

@joestrange  Since you aren’t contractually obligated not to tell twiztids tale of why they left. SPILL THE BEANS. I know you know, you were there the entire time.
