This is an interesting thread, the hypotheticals are limitless, but what would have been most probable if ICP went to Death Row in 1997 would have been very likely a different AJB, more rap, much less rock and with more DR rappers featured. They would have been recording in LA. There would have potentially been ICP involved in the east vs west bs, but their image would have been changed somewhat because DR would have difficulty marketing them. Psy was around since the beginning, which means there is a chance Twiztid, etc would have been brought on still. It is also likely that after an album or two they would have been released as DR typically did not sign talent long term, and collapsed shortly after this time.

ICP would have been label mates with Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, 2Pac, Nate Dogg & Tha Dogg Pound
Dre left Death Row to form Aftermath in 1996; Tupac Shakur was killed in 1996; Snoop and Nate left Death Row in 1997; by the time the whole Disney/Milenko shit happened Death Row was a shambles. They lost their distribution deal with Interscope in ’97 as well.
I think they would have been signed to Interscope alongside Marilyn Manson and Nine Inch Nails; that would have been their niche as a “shock rock” group. Would be interesting to think about a track with “Fragile”-era Trent Reznor involved.
