Riddlebox. I was 8 years old, and my sister was driving us somewhere and she started bumping it. I stole it the next day and played it out to the point that it rubbed the plastic to a shiny finish. I still have that CD, and it barely plays.

I remember going and buying Milenko.  I went home giddy as fuck crushed up the CD on its case and recreationally inhaled.

Next thing you know i’ve got a bent spoon,a butane torch and a half melted AJB CD, with a needle in my arm thinking HOW DID THIS HAPPEN…I knew at that point I was hooked…

Now it takes me all 3 MDPs to catch a buzz…WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME…

back in high school a friend made me a tape of korn, coal chamber and limp bizkit (i used to only listen to rock) them the other side was all icp from milenko and i was like WTF!! then after listening to it i got hooked and bought milenko then abj when it came out, but i didn’t get the messages or meanings cause i really only listened to music while playing games, then fast forward over ten years and a roommate of mine played shangri-la for me and i was hooked, i went through their whole catalog just looking for messages and shit, now it’s what i base my life on, ppl look at me like i’m crazy when i say this but i truely believe the carnival is what brought me from nothing to what i am now, and i owe it all to shit like pass me by and crystal ball that made me want to be a better human being

Amazing Jeckyl Brothers in 8th grade. The guy I borrowed it from wasn’t into them half as much as I was. I was curious because I heard they threw six live kittens in the crowd at every show and wouldn’t perform until they were torn to pieces. I’ve since heard the same rumor about numerous other musical acts and found it to be untrue of any. Anyhow, I wanted to know just how twisted someone would have to be to do that so I wanted to hear the music. I dug it, but I didn’t take’em to be that genuinely fucked up. Glad I was right. lol That was 12 years ago in just a couple months now that I think about it. Crazy.

I was in like 3rd grade and my homie stole his brothers copy of Riddlebox and made me listen to toy box from then on it was set in stone. I went to this record store called Sam Goody’s n tgey wouldn’t sell me a copy so I stole one(I’m such a bad ass, I know lol) listened to it religiously my family made fun of me for likin em cuz I’m half black. I didn’t give a fuck. I’d go to school n spit riddlebox verses n act like they were mine n since then I’ve been a morally corrupted weirdo.

some kid at school was nice enough to let me borrow his copy of Milenko! I took it home and dubbed it to cassette! Bumped it to death while I waited for AJB to be released and that was the first album I bought! That one two combo got me hooked for life!

Id say essentially it’d have to be Riddlebox that got me, I saw Chicken Huntin(Slaughterhouse mix) on the box, I kept hearing the song every 5-10 minutes I started singin along with it, I walked out into the living room and my sister had me sit and watch the video, From then on I was hooked.

I remember seeing them when they played the Oddities theme at Summerslam ’98, and immediately loving it. About a year later, a friend dropped by with a cassette of Milenko, and played “What Is A Juggalo,” “House of Horrors,” “Boogie Woogie Wu,” and “The Neden Game.” After that, I went out, bought the CD, and played it for like a fuckin’ year straight. So. Milenko, definitely.

I remember watching mtv one day and I saw one of the infamous mtv news clips with Kurt Loder talking about the Great Milenko being pulled off the store shelves that day and they were showing clips of Halls of Illusions and I was amazed at what I was seeing/hearing!!

The next time I was at the mall I went into a music store (either Coconuts or Strawberries at the time) and looked at the ICP cassette tapes and picked out the oldest one I could find which was Carnival Of Carnage. Bought it, brought it home, bumped it and I was hooked from that point on!!

Though my favorite was Riddle Box for a long time once I bought that one but C.O.C. was the one that started it all for me!!
