Seeing that article today, how Shaggs gives props to Rage Against the Machine as his first stellar concert, man.. so great. Weird because I once named Joe and Joey as inspirations to me for their work ethic, and Zack De La Rocha as a civil rights inspiration. Also I remember when J said he saw RATM at St. Andrew’s Hall, he liked em but was more inspired by House of Pain’s performance. He said in the book that he didnt like RATM being all about politics in their music when most of the crowd was just there to enjoy a night off of work. I can get that in a sense, but that is what RATM was about, so their particular crowd knew what they were in for. 

You can kind of see some similarities in mannerisms and onstage actions watching 2 Dope kick it as compared to Zack De La Rocha now. Cool stuff.

I really hope that comes out….  and mixed in that Kickjazz Doc should be some Shaggy too.  It’d be really cool to see those brothers and all the story’s n shit that comes in a well put together documentary. 

Its wishful thinking tho….

So they say…. but I think a lot of ppl were like “oh yeah……that’s cool…” but in the back of their minds knew that was never seeing the light of day.  I’d be floored if that really came out, like J was saying.

I thought that was a really special one night event at $150 a pop.  I’d pay that all day, but there’s no need to justify that price.  It is what it is, ya know.
