Not even referring to album sales since music don’t sell like it used to but what are your thoughts?

Things I consider is that Found never had a video or official single, and they don’t play any of the songs live off the two albums- even on the missing link tour itself they only did Explosions and that was it. I was also stunned to see that Found didn’t break even in the top 100,, even though we all knew Lost was going to do better ultimately but still that’s a helluva landslide.

Seems like they sort of shelved missing link and moved onto the march like “yeah..fuck those albums, we marching!” lol

generally i wasnt really feelin Lost but i feel that Found is their best album since the 90’s.. i think theyve just always stuck to the hits when they perform, while adding a new one or two from the new albums as the come along..

They performed Get Clowned a couple of times then dropped it from the setlist. There’s some footage on youtube. I remember J saying when they perform brand new songs they get zero reaction but when they do them 2 or 3 years later people go crazy. So maybe that’s the reason.

I wouldnt call them flop albums, Its just ICP isnt happening right now. They kind of had a resurgence with the Bang Pow Boom album/Miracles/GOTJ Infomercial hoopla which in turn should have made them come with the album of their career but they didnt, they came with the decent Mighty Death Pop.

And as far as video’s go, after watching that shitty ass I See The Devil video i dont want them to even bother right now if thats the effort they’re going to put in.

That’s true. You know, Kanye West has some of the coolest videos out there. He never slacks when it comes to his art, and certainly wouldn’t slack as president.

And when i saw the missing link tour they did explosions, vomit, juggalo party, get clowned, possibly one other.

Gathering 2015 they did a few tracks as well.

Personally I don’t feel that missing link was a flop I dig the hell out of lost…I didn’t care much for Found but it was a good record- I just thought they could have done more with it…

Another food for thought I wanted to put in to mind is that if I were them I wouldn’t be in a huge hurry to release the next Joker card. Unfortunately it sucks that albums don’t sell like they used to and that’s going for every artist out there so I feel like they don’t really need to release an official Joker card every couple years but maybe do some shit in between as ICP like another EP or maybe like a mixtape as odd as that sounds.

Lets just prey that they aren’t betting all their chips on Blahzay Roze. LoL

For my own personal tastes, TMML was a flop. I think it’s a sad excuse for a Joker’s Card and I think they went in the wrong direction. I’ve said it before, but the shift to dirty south “trap” beats just isn’t what I want to hear out of ICP. Maybe a song here and there, but damn near all of “Lost” is like that. I do like a few songs, such as “Confederate Flag” and “Flame Thrower”, but most of the songs do nothing for me. “Neighbors Are Fighting” is truly one of their worst songs they’ve ever put out. That is some of the most uninspired bullshit I’ve ever heard.

“Found” was a little more enjoyable to me, but still nowhere near as good as it should be for carrying the title of a Joker’s Card. Young Wicked’s best beat he’s done by far is “Lost At The Carnival” and I wish he did more shit like this. Some people have hated on “Dreams Of Grandeur” but I actually dug it. “I Fucked A Cop” and “The Midway” are pretty good too. But songs like “Ok”, “The World Is Yours”, “Juggalo Party”, and “Mr. White Suit” are damn near inexcusable. I have no problem at all with ICP doing the “softer” songs from time to time, but these ones are just a little too soft and unconvincing for me. Or maybe it’s just that there are too many of them. I understand that the concept of the album lends itself to the softer side, but, just didn’t feel right to me. They did a much better job of this on Shangi-La.

Oddly enough, some of the songs they recorded in that era that they put on the Outtakes and Phantom albums were super dope and easily could have replaced tracks from TMML and I’d have a much different opinion of TMML. The song “Phantoms” itself is the shit, they should aim to be this dope more often. “The Carousel”, “The Dream”, “The Monster”, “Six Pedophiles”, and “Joey The Butcher” are the shit as well.

If you listen to all of their work around that time you can hear what TMML could have been, which makes it that much more of a flop.

I feel like alot of them not performing MML tracks has to do with the timing. We all knew soon ICP would be doing an Riddlebox Tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary and an Ringmaster show. Lets not forget Rockfest were they preformed Infront of an non Juggalo crowd so they preformed the classics. The nostalgia has hit Juggalos and they know we love the old shit more. I liked the Missing Link albums but most tracks just don’t make you feel “damn this would be amazing live” Get Clowned and Explosions may be a few exceptions. Hopefully by the time the next Joker’s card drops ICP will bring something with nostalgia and grit we all can love. I don’t see the next album dropping till mid 2018.

I’d be surprised if they didn’t have a major release in 2017, even if it’s not a “Jokers Card”.

and now i'm gonna be performin at Juggalo Day WHUT

ICP’s music droppin these days just dont grab me like it used too.Probly cuz im damn near 30 and hate almost evrything about the world at this point….. More than likely why I wished they wouldve adapted to sumthin darker and more ruthless.Instead of them being 40 years old still telling Poop jokes

Nope not a flop just slept on. Both albums are dope. The second deck of Jokers Cards is just as dope as the first just in a different degree. And I’m 30 years old and been down since I was 12, and at first I thought The Wraith Shangri La was wack, after a couple years I listened to it in full again and I got it. So no they are not flop albums, just slept on, in two years ninjas will be singing a different tune. Just like Eminem’s album Relapse, that album is the some of the best shit Em put out as an artist but no mainstream fucks talk about Recovery cause that’s the mainstream album and easily gobbled up by the masses. TMML Found and Lost are great artistically, but can it be gobbled up instantly by the Juggalo masses, no. It will take some time and some more listening to for mutha fuckas to get it. And I agree ICP hasn’t promoted these albums as hard as BPB or MDP, but it came in between a Riddlebox Tour and other shit going on. So give it another listen and listen hard the beats are dope and no while not typical ICP they flow over them just as well. The song lyrics and ideas are fresh. JUST LISTEN TO IT AGAIN YOU FUCKS AND TAKE ALL OF WHAT YOU EXPECT AN ICP ALBUM TO BE FROM YOUR NOGGIN PULL IT OUR YOUR EARS SHOVE IT UP YOUR FAT MOMMAS ASS AND REALLY LISTEN!

i have prolly said this 1000 times but il say it again. Been down for 15+ yrs. Lost is easily in my top 5 fav records ICP has ever dropped. absolutely love it. I would consider Found the weaker of the two releases for sure but its still a very very solid record.
