Has the right idea hiring social media rappers like Ouija Macc, what he needs to do is step up his own social media game start getting likes, views, subscribers and all that bullshit first tho and then hire some social media rappers worth a damn bc I have 0% faith in Ouija (cool name) but he and his partner already fucked up every track they been on, including a $uicideboy$ song which is an established artist already well liked, and trash fire or whatever is alright but not good enough.
He’s got the right idea tho if he can master this niche psy’s good. Same for Mono if he gets his sm game up he’s good and he can sign whatever rapper he wants but until then…. lackluster.
IMO

aside from the autotune (and I’ve even heard worse autotune tbh) I don’t think Ouija/Swag Toof are that bad at all…Ouija especially has some skill even if his voice takes some getting used to and meshed with Psychopathic/J’s creative guidance I’m sure they’ll put together some interesting music
as for the social media talk idk much about all that but I do agree Psychopathic (and MNE) need to do a better job of connecting with the current trends/waves…I’m not saying completely follow trends or ride other waves but at least incorporate aspects of what’s IN right now into your own music so it doesn’t sound like the same shit you were doing 10 years ago or that you’re just stuck in your own little world and expect everyone else to remain stuck in it as well when there’s other, more innovative music being put out elsewhere

Haha. Have you got tin ears or something? Can’t you hear the trap sound all over the missing link albums? I think icp has always been in touch with what sounds are popular over the years. There’s definitely always been evolution with the sound.

They’ve already blown up and have their own culture. They don’t need anything. But social media his a huge part in blowing up modern artists.

Scruffy is a gen xer. He don’t get how millennials use social media to connect with the world.
Myspace rappers 4 lyfe
Jk
Sorta. Social media is good but it don’t make up for hours of putting in foot work offline, unless you on the b YouTube blow up plan like bieber
If you really believed that all lives matter we wouldn't need to say black lives matter

Except tons of artists are blowing up through the internets these days. Putting in the footwork usually comes after to stay relevant but for the initial blow up you don’t need it.

How many tracks have you actually listened to? Swag Toof’s full length album released a couple months back was fire IMO. Ouija can rap. I think we’ll see less of the autotune on PSY.

I’d say Mono/Twiztid already have a pretty strong presence on social media. MNE just isn’t really signing those type of rappers.

Shit I don’t think Twiztid/Mono can have more of a social media presence! Dude is on there ALL the time talkin shit lol
I do agree that ICP, both J and Shaggy, could post more shit. But to be honest, I think they could give a fuck about all that. I know Shaggy’s like that for sure. But thats just me being greedy and wanting more content to watch and look at. They did do a good job when making FTFOMF, got some cool lotus pod pictures of Shaggs and Clay puttin it down.
I still gotta listen to this Ouija Macc swag toof dude, just give the guy good beats for his new PSY album. To me that’s 85% of what makes ANY song good, in my eyes.

Could of swore one of the definitions of “Juggalo” was not to follow trends.Hmmmmmmm…
As for MNE they wish they could get the media exposure PSY/ICP does.
That type of shit can’t be bought.
It’s un-obtainable, like Scruffies virginity.
#purity4lifemob
Then explain ICP’s career where all they did was follow trends and then tell you they don’t follow trends because you’re dumb enough to believe it.

karacalla –
that shit doesnt even make any sense. youd know this, if you had taken about two seconds to think about it.
but then, it dont make much in the way of sense for you to shoehorn my name into almost every post you put up.
unless youre in love. then it makes sense.
barring that, you got a serious fixation to deal with. but do it on your own, leave me out of it.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

as far as production you are correct for the most part…I was speaking more on their subject matter…you can switch up the production but if you’re still rapping about the same old topics you were years ago just in a different way it starts to feel a little stale…they show signs of breaking out of their comfort zone and trying new shit here and there which is dope I just wish they’d do more of it rather than falling back into it

Violent J is awkward as fuck on Twitter so i’d say its better that he’s not on there that much. All i want is The Juggalo Show back either in podcast form or on Psychopathic Radio. Just J and Shaggy doing a show together with none of their annoying do-bots ruining it.
