recap

– Karma forest will have production from Wicked, MEC, Esham, and others. It’s a compilation disc of tracks with different artists. Seven produced the “edm” style again like explosions. The album title explains itself.. it’s a happy album.

– 3 documentaries coming out (more info at the GOTJ and on the road to the gotj it will be talked about)

– J hasn’t worked on karma forest much, he’s working on an “undisclosed project” at the moment.

– this year is going to be huge (he’s said it about 10+ times)

– Icp seminar is going to be ‘huge’ this year.

– Abk is pretty much reliable for dropping his album, he’s the one that determines when an album comes out and when he goes on tour. but he’s been “working on it” J doesn’t know when it’s coming out. Still plans on dropping the album on psy, hasn’t told them hes leaving or anything. (if it isn’t 90% done it’s 100% done)

– hoodoo is still finishing his album, wicked said they are “on the final mix right now”

– Shaggy is doing half of the beats with Wicked on his solo album. been writing alot

That’s what I got out of the interview about cds and the most important stuff.

Props to scottie for the questions, he actually asked what alot of us were wondering.

Dope interview.

J’s response to the question about ABK’s new album makes it pretty clear to me that Psychopathic is done with trying to pump out multiple releases throughout the year. Which kinda sucks.

I figure they could still fill up a release schedule with DJ Clay mixtapes, Hoodoo, AMB, Mike E Clark Murder Mixes,ABK,Hav Knots, etc.

Most likely the vault of unreleased shit is running dry, which I’m sure contributes to the lack of content being put out, but still…..

And Young Wicked came off like a bit of a do-boy in that interview, jus sayin.

Wicked always comes off as that. I don’t prefer any of that, mec’s murder mixes were boring. Abk is lazy, hav knots, eh. and dj clay I hate. amb I don’t like either.

Only people on psy I like is abk, hoodoo and icp. Wicked i like his production and some tracks. other than that, the roster sucks.

even losing twiztid, wasn’t that big of a loss because they barely made anything either. And there music was getting stale.

I will probably come back here and there for some music, but honestly I think it’s my time to move on from psy. After hearing the interview and J saying he wants seven to produce more of that edm trap shit… yea no thanks. I had enough of that and that sound.

He also said he wants ESHAM to produce some of his new shit, which scores huge points with my suicidalist ass.

Straight from the urban dictionary-

One who does everything for his associate under demand and receive no praises for his accomplishments. The pussy of the neighborhood, the one you sent to the store for a dutch and you didn’t let him/her hit it when they got back.

your just asking to start a troll war arent you…. Twiztid were the only act/group on psy roster who were consistiently putting out projects.

ICP, drops shit every couple of years witha few little odds and end here and there but twiztid were the only oes releasing a full length every year.

Yea but look at alot of those, they were poo. Abominationz is the only half decent cd they made since green book. Wicked was semi alright. Everything else they did sucked. The only stuff I liked from twiztid was

Cryptic Collection 3

Green book

Mostastless

freekshow

abominationz

and the fright fest ep.

and like 2-3 tracks off every cd I didn’t list

Troll war, for what? lol. Because I don’t have an opinion the same as everyone else? Esham producing J’s music is the only thing i’m really hyped about. I loved everything esham produced for psy. He’s a talented ass producer.

because your opinion amounts to a incorrect arguement. your just asking to bring the trolls out.

just because YOU didnt like what twiztid was putting out doesnt mean they werent doing anything. they were working alot harder.

I for one am not interested in any way shape or form about esham linking up with J again. in my OPINION everything esham has touched in the last 10 – 15 years has been hot garbage.

im excited as shit for asylum. and the unnamed projects. and karma forrest should be good.

Which tracks (especially by ICP) did he produce exactly? I don’t care much about Esham, imo every ICP track with him was weak or worse than that. The second half of Silent of the Hams was okay I guess, but in general every part by Esham in ICP songs (that I heard at least), well, sucked. Or, the other way round, which song would you recommend to give it another try?

Furthermore I’m really excited for Asylum, too. I think Hoodoo’s underrated, I really like his voice. Just his gimmick seems forced to me, but we’ll see.

edit: ah, yeah, and I’m kinda disappointed J considered “karma forest” as a “fun, happy album”. Man as much as I like him as a musician, the dark and angry ones always were his dopest music.

Chop Chop

17 Dead

Blackin’ Yo Eyes

Night of the 44

I know there’s more, but that’s all I can think for now with the Esham produced tracks.

Esham also produced one of my most favorite ICP joints, Angels Falling. I also really liked what he did with Manic Depressive.

if your referring to twiztid when they were on psy, i dont think so they take a few years in releasing lps. if you are referring to them when they left they only put out one lp which was lacking tracks

I never really liked any esham Solo stuff but I liked the Albums he did on psy and espacielly the tracks he did with icp like migraine headache and p-p-p-Pow. Altgough night of the 44 and chop chop are dope as fuck.

I’m excited for Asylum too, loved crystal skull(but always thought icp should have done this Album)

And excited as hell for shaggys Project sounds promising that he is More in Controll on this one. I think it’s gonna have a bass pounding oldschool twist.

I’m wondering what the mysterious violent j Project could be.

Think he produced real underground baby too for hells pit.

As for esham not being good, I liked his shit on psy. repetanance gets alot of hate but I dug it. I don’t even mind if happy albums are what J and shaggy are into but I prefer “happy” stuff like shangrila. that was such a dope album.

As for my opinion being an “incorrect arguement” its exactly that, an opinion. so idc who hates it or who cries about it. Twiztid was wack for so many years. I personally feel like with blaze’s new cd mne is starting to sound like the old shit again which I really like.

We’ll see on the new twiztid cd, as for J and his side project, i’m pretty sure it’s some kind of group with him, wicked and some other people. Becuz in that interview wicked said he was apart of something big also so I wouldn’t doubt it.

I wish they would just create one group and try to bring back “the wicked shit” cause obv icp is going to be that happy sounding stuff and lotus is more along the lines of story telling now. Mixed with a little hint of dark stuff. But I’d really like to see them come together and form some kind of new group exclusively with the wicked shit.

I think shaggy’s solo will be the best thing they release all year. (if it comes out this year)
