Been noticing this for a while now, CD’s that used to sell for a lot on Ebay are much cheaper these days.
I got stuff like Cryptic Collection (Halloween and Holiday), Forgotten Freshness 1995 OG, Violent J Gathering solo, Project Born, Madrox Earth II, Juggalo Show box, Fright Fest 2003 and 2005, PFOS, Gathering EP’s, Pendulums, Rydas EP etc. etc. that I was planning my retirement around (….)
All because juggalos are normally done when they reach a certain age, and the new schoolers are all Spotify and iTunes?

People are smarter now-a-days. Why would you want to pay 10 times what something is worth? The ebay prices are outrageously high.

Hopefully, this was a joke. Much like comic books, baseball cards, and TY beanie babies….It’s not a great thing to plan anything around. The market is never what you hope it is.

What is this suppose to mean? Done with what?

New School or Old School does not matter. I know a bunch of people that have been down since the earlier 90’s that get all their music on iTunes. (I prefer CD’s) The times are changing, it does not matter when you started listen to something.

That may be, but they used to be higher – which was my point. Also, “value” is relative – how many people want what? More people used to be willing to pay more, that’s what I meant.

Never letting go of my precious CD’s :)

What I meant by this is the average age of a juggalo – it’s not that high. Look back to the Riddle Box era, the people at the shows, Gathering etc. were for the most part teens/early 20’s. Fast forward to today and the same holds true. I know there are people like us who are still down at 35 (well, I’m 35), but on that same note, a big group also “grows out” of it.

Not agreeing with you there, although I see your point. If you take a select group of people, your CD buying guys will be of a higher average age than your non-CD guys.
