A “posse” is comprised of like five or more people. Two guys can’t be a posse. They should call themselves The Insane Clown Duo or something instead.

Bunch of great answers, but to be clear, a posse can be any number of people, including two. There's no specific numbered requirements for "posse"

noun
noun: posse; plural noun: posses
  1. HISTORICAL•US
    a body of men, typically armed, summoned by a sheriff to enforce the law.
    • HISTORICAL•BRITISH
      the body of men in a county whom the sheriff could summon to enforce the law.
      noun: posse comitatus; plural noun: posse comitatus
    • INFORMAL
      a group of people who have a common characteristic, occupation, or purpose.
      "he pompously led around a posse of medical students"
    • INFORMAL
      a group of people who socialize together, especially to go to clubs or raves.
       

     

None of these top definitions mention anything about a specific number of people. If you wanna be upset about posse, be upset about its original implication of being involved with the police.
