it seemed like the original idea of Lotus was just to be ICP and Twiztid songs, like when they did “i dont care” and “drunken ninja master”, maybe even “maniac killa” was a lotus track, who knows???? mike clark was on board when they did “echo side” and “black magic” but he split and then J got his hands on the necronimcon and when Marz came around they dove into the black magic and lotus went pure evil. marz played such a big part in lotus' themes for the album, i think him leaving turned lotus into just icp and twiztid collab songs like “black rain”.

Lotus was nothing like any album they ever did. they had some of their darkest work on their…”headache” has that amazing chorus that sounds like a black magic chant, “ali baba” is a masterpiece, everyone blessed that track..”the crows” is so scary i dont listen to it alone, too many bad trips on drugs to that one
