We shit on shitty lyrics, poetry is different. I'm sure some people would shit on it, but you should be proud of your work, man. Plus I don't think people shit on the work of people who make regular, constructive posts. Only time I've seen someone "shitting on lyrics" is with warlock or ransoms who just post their songs and leave. In the end it's your decision though.

I completely forgot that Tom Green use to rap. For a skinny white Canadian impersonating Heavy D, he's not too bad.
Also, it's rather hard to find poetry that isn't pretentious so you really should post some stuff, @86 . It really is your choice but it seems like you have a few people that honestly want to read it. Sure, people are going to shit on it but you're also on a forum for Juggalos wherein ICP get shit on so you know, grain of salt.

i dont know for sure that the family 'era' ever existed. its the way its always been.only difference that ive seen, is that since this 'era' began, you get ninjas expecting that they are automatically gonna get the same love from me that id give to my closest homies, just cuz were all juggalos. that is not the case.
there was 'family' love before the family 'era'. and, no assumed expectations.
bzas definition does not cover it by a longshot. but that is the only real foundation, for sure.
Hmmm.... bza's definition was "a bunch of people with the same musical interest." I'd say the foundation is less about purely the music in and of itself, and more about to conformity and the priorities that mainstream society says we're all supposed to value. And more specfiically,to the idea of compromising yourself in any way to fit in to those mainstream values, to the idea that you should feel bad about yourself because you won't (or can't) do it. If the music didn't embody these ideas, I don't think Juggalos would exist.

Anyways, I agree with just about everyone on this thread. Sit the fuck down. Asshole
I'm guessing you didn't see the videos.
Tom Green forced Youtube to take them down because the footage made him look like a washed up asshole.
The videos did not make him look like he schooled some overzealous fan at a show.

No, I saw the videos. I wasn't agreeing with Tom Green so much, dude that was in the audience was just a tool. Dude should have just shut the fuck up, he had more than ample time to get it out of his system. I'm not necessarily a Tom Green fan, I just agree that the shit was annoying. Let people chill the fuck out and watch the show, you're just acting like a jackass, fucking it up for everybody else. Also, why you would go to see Tom Green in concert and treat it like a juggalo event is beyond me.

No, but what he said triggered the bouncers to drag me outside in a submission hold and threaten to call the cops if I didnt immediately leave. Not really cool. I'm just pissed I got drug out for showin some love, I cant wait til July and we all come home and whoop whoop gets you nothing more than a whoop whoop and maybe a handhake or a hug, can't wait to be back home at GOTJ where people are understanding and dont spread hate.
OHHHHHHHHHHHH you mean the GOTJ the place where meth heads, druggies, fat bitches, ignorant people roam? Sure cool people are there but that event is just a pile of crap from what it used to be. Tom Green saying what he did "triggered" the bouncers to drag you out? No maybe it's just meathead security gaurds tend to do that a lot of the time.

I feel Legend Valley cleaned it up quite a bit. No drug bridge helped. I also didn't notice that there were any more fat people than what a natural cross-section of the general population would produce. The gathering got a little rough in the last few years at Hog Rock but the venue change seemed to swing it back in a better direction.
