For ICP in general. I can break down why I feel that way, but I’ve done that numerous times. And it worked. It made them look like the freedom fighters they should have been 10 years ago. But as my good friend Drewcifer says, “Yeah, I’m upset they haven’t done anything earlier, but it’s better late than never regardless of what their true intent is.”

I don’t wanna spend too much time shitting on it. No matter what the intent was there is nothing negative to come from this. I don’t see much change either. Unless people keep it going. I supported the idea of local marches over this one big march. And I still do.

I don’t think they’ve ever had as much POSITIVE attention as they had Saturday…I couldn’t be there myself unfortunately but everything I read on social media seemed to be positive towards them for once…it was definitely a publicity stunt but it’s not like that was a secret…they wanted that information to spread and raise awareness and you’re right whatever bonus sales or w/e they may get from it is a nice plus I’m sure they won’t complain about lol

There was discussion before about predictions on how the March will go. I said something about how I had a bit of a bad vibe on it just based on a lot of bullshit that hasn’t worked out lined up for Psychopathic this year. But based on watching some live stream stuff and seeing the articles about the March, it actually seems like it went well and everyone behaved themselves. They also had a pretty good turnout, probably more than I would have thought. 

So who knows, were they motivated to get some publicity for ICP themselves? I’m sure that was part of it. But I think they genuinely did what they thought was right to do for Juggalos and the whole FBI/gang situation. They’ve brought it to court and were told to fuck off. They hear more and more about how this shit has complicated some peoples’ lives and it’s made it harder for them to do their shows, Gatherings, etc. So they’re like well what the fuck, we’ll march on Washington. I get it, I don’t see this as strictly a “promote ICP” thing. J and Shaggy’s speech was good too. Maybe a little repetitive as it went, but they had some good things to say sprinkled in with some humor of course. 

Side note, did anybody catch Dee Snider there? I know J and Shaggy said he accepted their invite to come but I’ve heard nothing of it. Just curious about that.

They said he was the only one who agreed to do the cypher so they dropped the song idea. He wasn’t there.
