I agree they both are good albums.Maybe not as consistent as ringmaster,riddlebox,milenko or AJB but they are still good.Cotton candy n pop song can fuck off though.

wish he’d do more of that though. we can all dance and jig when they’re rapping about killing evil people or how we all love each other. but they also have every right to flip it and call themselves and the juggalo world out on stupid shit we all do. just as long as they’re entertaining about it and don’t think they’re any better. that’s why we all love the old stuff because they made fun of themselves, the fans, and the world. the music and scene has gotten too pc for its own good imo. everyone’s fighting and pointing the finger of what needs to be done. would be dope if the next icp album exposed everything that’s been goin on. that's when icp are at their wickedest (or maybe sincerest) is when they're commentating on shit that sucks in the world. the raining diamonds era was cool back then for that special album. but the world keep spinning and they can’t keep pretending everything is all good all the time. comes off way too fake now.

I honestly want different beats. The reason why they're sounding the way they are is definitely the beats. There's been a few tracks since MEC has been back that sounded just like old school ICP. The closest I think they've come is probably wicked hellaween, if I was a serial killer, I found a dead body, the tower and off the top of my head that's about it.
This happy shit has been going on since after hells pit it's getting old now. I think they need to take a break from the happy shit and make a dark album give thereself some creative freedom.
Oh, on another note the Mostasteless shit was funny as hell, me and my 2 friends went to diamons raining pretour ? It was the first time I ever seen ICP live, great tour by the way. I remember catching alot of heat at that time, cause if you were a juggalo and you haven't been to an icp show before shangrila you were a “juggaho” and might I add, anybody that didn't get to catch the shangrila era live, fucking missed out. That shit was dope, even the hells pit tour with mack 10.
Anyways; after the show we had no ride home and only had $100 on us, so we got this gyntey (however you spell it) driver to drive us home and my boy has a mostasteless jersey and the whole time he kept yellin MOSTASTLESS NUGGA. it was the fuckin funniest shit ever cause he had no idea who twiztid was but was just yelling it for so long.

I think the reason the music ICP makes now is so “happy” is because thats what they are. The original Joker Cards were so dark because ICP was pissed, poor, and caught hell from every direction from the mainstream. To kinda draw a parallel between them and myself, I see it like this; When those OG cards dropped, I was in my mid teens to mid 20s. Back then I had this whole fuck the world mentality. Now in early 30s, Im not pissed anymore, nor do I have the FTW mentality. Im married, own a home, 2cars, steady employment, and the greatest lil 14month old son. I have NOTHING to be pissed about. I love my life. Most of what I just said is also where ICP is these days. If music is supposed to be an expression of whats in your heart, mind and soul, how could ICP even come close to making wicked shit like they did back in the day? Can you fault somebody for being happy? You have every right to not like the kind of music they make these days. Just understand that if you really have that craving for some ICP wicked shit, those old cds before 2002, still work and should play just fine.

I'm in the same boat other than I went through a divorce. But I see what your saying. Here's my beef…. Don't call yourself “Insane” when your music isn't.
An\d even if J and Shaggs are better off now in life….there's still bad shit going on that they could rap about. A lot of political stuff going on, gun control, still racist out there, shootings….etc…If your going to have the word “Insane” in your group name, then lyrically act like it. my 2 cent
