Would The 6th have sounded any different had the Bizzar's not come out?
- You know, I really don't think it would dude...
- Taco Bell
- Now that you bring it up, I think it might sound different
- I was just trying to find the midget porn section man
Ok first, just so we’re all on the same page a little background. Back in the day I remember reading in multiple places that the deal they signed with Island was a 4 album deal. That’s (in Island’s head) Milenko, Jeckel Bros., The 6th and the one after, a smart move on thier part. But then Def Jam buys Island out and ICP get lost in the shuffle, behind all the other ‘real’ ‘artists’.
Second, J has said that they saved all the really super bomb ass ideas for the 6th. So there was a backstock of killer ideas just kinda sitting there.
Third, Jeckel Bros. comes out in May of ’99 and the Bizzar’s come out in October ’00, that’s 3 albums written in about 2 years, plus all the work he did on Twiztid’s first two records, which comes to at least 4 records in 2 years, that’s a heavy workload even for J.
So,rather than Joe and Joey give the record that would be the ‘orgasm’ of thier entire career to that point to a record label that didn’t care and didn’t remember that they ever gave a shit they record a double record and sell it seperatly, affectively ending the record deal about a year and a half early (the time to write, record, and tour a final record) and totally fucking Island in the booty hole. But to get all the material they needed to put the boots to Island they had to have dug into The 6th folder to finish the records. There are more than a couple songs in the Bizzar’s that very easily have that 6th feel if not the exact sound (fuck you if you hate it, it was a MAGIC fuckin’ era, ain’t no rain like Diamond Rain) and there are songs on The 6th that, on any other record are great, but just don’t match the vibe of The 6th.
So just to throw the first hand full of shit at the fan here’s The 6th tracklist from an alternate deminsion:
1.Intro/Walk Into thy Light 9.Juggalo Homies
2.Welcome to thy Show 10.Questions
3.Take Me Away 11.Pendulum’s Promise
4.Blaaammm!!! 12.Thy Raven’s Mirror
5.Juggalo Paradise 13.Crystal Ball
6.Birthday Bitches 14.Crossing thy Bridge
7.It Rains Diamonds 15.Behind the Paint
8.Let’s Go All The Way 16.Thy Wraith
17.Thy Unveiling
Let the debate begin muthafackos!

I like that track listing, It seems to make sense, But crystal ball wouldn’t work for track 13. Its 22+ mins long. Ive been listenen to Bizzar/Bazaar a lot lately, But it also comes down to the turmoil between ICP and MEC back in 00, About halfway through Bizzar/Bazaar they had a falling out, Which led to ICP recording the rest in Denver Co, And this was when Mike Peezy came into the picture. So the sixth sounds as it was intended to sound.

It all comes to about 74 minutes because Crystal ball is just short of 8 minutes and Pendulum’s is almost 4, also I kept regard to the fact that The 6th was released on vynil. It’d be Side A 1-4, Side B 5-9, Side C 10-13, Side D 14-17, It Rains Diamonds wouldnt include Bitch Slappaz nor any of the other songs’ skits, just for the sake of keeping the album length tight, the additional 6 minutes left on the CD would be plenty for them though.
I kind of assumed Mike P. would produce it given it would’ve been out somewhere between Oct of 00 and May 01, depending on how much time they took off, they took like 8 months off before it came out in 02. Then Hell’s Pit comes out in say, Feb 03 and the Joker’s Card’s wrap up with 2003, almost 2 years early.
This is purely speculation but is the second deck an attempt to do the Joker’s Cards without the record label BS that marred the 3rd, 4th and maybe the 5th and 6th ones? Now they can release the Cards as they see fit without people crossing out the lines and having to replace it all with ghetto slang as with Milenko?
Also has anyone thought that it is actually pretty sweet that we get to watch this entire deck unfold? I mean how many ICP Vinnie’s are out there still? like 9, so basically no one watched the last deck totally unfold from Carnival, but hopefully we’ll all be around whe The 6th Part Deux hits in 2021 as we rock it in our hover cars on our way to the 28th Hallowicked.
And last, ICP are eligible for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame in, get this, 2017. So how good are thier chances? Maybe better than you think, there are rap groups in there and they have a history of giving credit where credit is due regardless of public opinion so who knows.
I just like posing crazy hypothetical questions and seeing what comes back, it’s all just senceless speculation for the fun of it anyway.
Side note: remember the 22 month period where the line ‘The shit is called hell’s pit, run out and get it’ didn’t make any sence because it wasn’t out yet? Awesome…

they dropped the ball on “the sixth” imo. the wraith:shangri la is far from what it was supposed to be and doesn’t come close to the work that lead up to it.
most problematic was the absence of mike e. clark…he had always defined icp’s sound & for them to have a falling out at such a pivotal moment was…devastating.mike p’s production doesn’t come close to what was created for milenko/jeckel/bizzar bizaar putting icp in the unforunate position of having their “grand finale” severely wounded before it even began.
if they were not trying to prolong their “golden age” before finishing the joker cards & weren’t concerned with putting out 2 albums to get off their label, bizzar/bizaar could have/should have been the final jokercard and if you take the 16 best songs from it (assuming it will be 17 tracks including an intro) you can make an album wwaayy beyond shangri la (imo ofcourse)
shangri la doesnt have the “magic” feeling of the albums before it…the production, the mixing/mastering, the execution, the sloppy layout, the lack of “killer ideas” J claimed they were saving…bizzar/bizaar is full of wwaayy better concepts.
so yeah…the sixth could have captured the “magic” feeling of icp’s prime if A)it was released as a 17 track more concise single disc of the material used on bizzar/bizaar or B)mike e clark would have been in charge of production giving it the soundscape icp had flourished under until that point.

If you believe in the theory of the Multiverse, then there exists an alternate dimension wherein ICP stands for Insane Child Predators who have a rabid cult like following known as the Buggalos who have waited many years for the release of the sixth Poker’s Card entitled “Thy Wrape”.

This is completely off topic but I saw this post on fb this morning saying something that J and Shaggs are making an entirely new deck of Jokers Cards, and BPB and TMDP are only considered sideshows according to the post and each Jokers Card is going to have 10 different versions, 2 Exclusive bonus tracks for each version. I call bullshit on this, Feel free to bash this as you please.
