Ok out of the last three albums which one is your favorite? I think I like the mighty death pop more then most old school fans but I gotta roll with the tempest is my favorite album out of the last three.

shouldnt your username be thetempest then? lol. I personally love The Mighty Death Pop as one of my top 5 favorite ICP albums, then not far behind would be Bang Pow Boom… and to be honest I havent even listened to the tempest yet. I have a bad feeling about the tempest though because I recently listened to Calm/Eye of the Storm which lead into the tempest… and those 2 albums are by far their worst work (even though I still do enjoy them)

You’re partially right about the Calm, Eye of the Storm, and Tempest connection, but here’s how it actually went:

The Calm was ICP winding down after the first 6. The album was essentially them catching their breath to start up the tempest. The album was produced entirely by them which isn’t terrible, but there’s a reason they get outside help for their big releases.

Then came The Tempest which marked the return of MEC. To stay on topic of the thread, it’s by far my favorite of the 3. The problem I see with BPB and MDP is that I personally feel the carnival days are over. It kinda feels forced? (that’s the best word I’ve got for it)

The Tempest was just them off the chain so to speak there was no dark carnival to feel none to force. Then came Eye of the Storm which is just the outtakes of The Tempest. To sum it all up, if you don’t like The Calm or Eye of the Storm, that doesn’t mean you don’t like The Tempest. The exact opposite is true for me.

I’m a huge ICP mark.  And even my bottom 3 ICP albums, I can still listen to beginning to end and enjoy the shit out of it.  It’s not a matter of good/bad.  It’s a matter of “what am I in the mood for the most often?”

Very true. Within a couple weekends at work, I bumped basment cuts through MDP. Sometimes I just put it on shuffle and be happy with whatever

Tempest is one of my top albums, love the sound. Then Bang! Pow! Boom!, then The Mighty Death Pop!, although I enjoy them all, Shooting Stars is awesome.

pretty much the same for me.

with a few glaring exceptions.  carnival of carnage, for instance.

Mighty Death Pop is the easy choice for me. I loved Bang! Pow! Boom! when it came out too, and even though it has worn out a bit through the years it still has some great stuff.

I am opposite many of you. The Tempest is, by far, my least favorite project ICP has ever released.

It’s not what you meant,  it’s what you said. And Forrest Gump is awesome.  So thanks for the C Rated diss lol. You take shit too personal.  You can explain all you want.  but you still said mdp is better then great Milenko thru hells pitt.  Which is retarded to me.

But different strokes for different folks

Little Yellow Bus is one of my favorites. It’s relatable to me. I used to ride that bus when I was a kid. They took me to a special school and everything.

When I registered here on faygoluvers in 2012 a lot of the user names I wanted were taken so I went with mightydeathpop  because it was fresh in my mine back in 2012 when the album came out. After I registered I forgot my password so that’s why I have very few post. Got my password reset and now Im back after two years lol..

I liked Bang Pow Boom a lot, MDP was ok but the main album seemed lacking maybe because they worked on the bonus material for just as long as the album dunno. The Tempest was ok had some solid tracks, also had some awful ones and was a pretty uneven listen
