regarding the the topic at hand, I say riddlebox.  I came into the scene with milenko, and it holds a special place in my heart, but riddlebox showed the biggest leap of progress in their musical career, compared to their previous album.  don’t get me wrong, I love ringmaster, but does it represent who icp are today?  Not really.  its almost like pre-riddlebox icp is a different band.

riddlebox represents the line in their career.  when discussing their old shit, everything is either “before riddlebox” or “after riddlebox”, whereas milenko represents the point where icp started to become influenced by the outside world.

thats another thing, I agree with the dude above that said that riddlebox was made during their most creative time.  It was the point where they were making enough money to comfortably focus on their music, but still had something to prove.  It was also before their (failed) pursuit of mainstream acceptance began to have an effect on their artistic direction and business decisions
