In all seriousness though, I like that you used the word redacted instead of some other similar, but less cool word.

i was actually really looking foward to this cd. shangri la.and hells pit are some of the best cds of all time by anybody and this is the same concept basically mike p and otis did an amazing job. its like a mix of hells pit and unforgiving forest.

all amazing, serious and personal songs. which is the best kind of songs really!  those will go down as some of my favorites of all time!!   this is a must listen for everybody!

Don't get me wrong guys, I do really enjoy this album, but to me, a good amount of the beats sound very similar, and it seems as if they just reused songs. For example

-Apocalypse-It's All Over/ and I remember shaggy saying something about shooting a kid or getting shot by one in FTFO if I remember

-Confederate Flag- Rebel Flag (Obviously)

-Falling Apart-Opposite of Growing Again imo

-How- How many times

-Explosions/Flamethrower-Bazooka Joey

 

I do really like however, the vibe of anger that I get from most of the songs. I remember when they said that the Mighty Death Pop was going to be filled with anger, but I get the vibe more from this album.

I don't get how How is anything like How Many Times. How is "how do you keep the faith in spite of all the bullshit" and how many times is "how can i put up with all this bullshit". I guess they are similar but it just never even came to me like that.

Apocalypse actually reminds me a lot of Murder Go Round, but amped up to the next level.

Falling Apart reminds me of Guts on the Ceiling. 

Flame Thrower doesn't remind me specifically of Bazooka Joey but rather of all the murder rampage songs from psychopathic, night of the ax/44/chainsaw, bazooka joey, manic depressive, and the tons of other ones. 

I think it's dope that the songs seem familiar though. They aren't "the same" but they aren't completely new either. Dropping albums for 25 years, you're going to repeat some themes.

I streamed it a couple times on you tube, and the clowns did a great job on this CD. Idk the names of songs yet, but a few stood out to me as pretty fucking awesome. I haven't heard it sober yet, but no song stood out as a "concert song". I still gotta listen to it a couple more times, and sober. 

Overall good job clowns. I'm gonna go buy a copy of the album. They did a good job and deserve to get paid for it.
