Zen of Love sounded like Syn singing in the background.  I never heard Otis sing because frankly, I wasn’t a big fan of his til recently.  And I know Zug Izland is back on the hatchet, so it’s not out of the question.  

 

And I know Violent J has writing credits on Crystal Skull.  But there’s an interview where someone asks Hoodoo that and his answer is that Violent J gave him tips here and there and that’s a writing credit, but the lyrics were his, and they came from the heart.  Violent J did not WRITE Crystal Skull, but he helped Hoodoo.  The fact that you can’t see how there’s a grey area between someone getting a writing credit and someone flat out writing something for someone else shows me how little you know about how…. anything works.  

 

I’ve been in a room once where I was bullshitting with writers, and something got written and it went on TV and I jokingly said, “Can I get writing credit for that?” and they said yes, and my name was on TV.  Straight up.  In the entertainment industry, a lot of times it looks bad to have one name credited for everything, so they will do that.  Not saying that exact thing happened here, but I am saying getting writing credits doesn’t mean you had 100% creative control of everything.

i don’t wanna sound like a dick or anything, but if anyone knows anything about audio quality or what not, they would never do this. and i’ve seen you and  others suggest this for the new ep and other stuff. stale.

i’d hate to think people are happy listening to shitty youtube rips. learn something about compression and how an mp3 works or something. if people are gonna be bumpin some shit, they should do it at some good quality. 320 kbps or FLAC, or at least v0. people putting up with iTunes or shitty ass stale youtube rips are selling themselves short. be aware of what you’re doing to your music.

maybe this isn’t the right place for it, but i’ll say it, if you’re gonna listen to something, listen to it at a high quality. otherwise, you’re losing a lot of the work these guys have done making actual quality music.

i didn’t by the box set (i’m waiting to see some spectrals on the mastering, wanna make sure it’s worth the upgrade) but anyone who REALLY wants to hear these new dope tracks should wait til a proper rip is available, if they’re not gonna buy it.

Got it today. I bought it for all the albums and the new album. I got rid of my cards awhile go because of the box set announcement. It’s taken forever but I waited and now I have them again. So good and high quality top to bottom. I was expecting cheap shit but nope. $96 well spent. And the new EP damn. Makes me excited for next year! Now to listen to these fucks in order like I haven’t done for years.
