The 2nd album of the Psychopathic discography I ever listened to.
The first was the Great Milenko and although at the time (’00) I felt it failed in comparison, after listening to the hundred or so more albums released by Psy I feel it’s a strong album today.
Happy 17th Jake & Jack!

Agree entirely. I feel the same way about The Tempest. Although it had some bad songs on it, like Mexico City, I still think of it as one of the better albums

I remember sitting in Art Class senior year 1999, and by buddysittin next to me was like “Dude you get that new ICP CD, its called Jake Jeckel something!” And i was like whaaaaaat!?!? I didn’t even know that it came out! Ran to the store and bought it that day. Shit was so fucking different back then…..Then in August of ’99 I went to see the Jeckel Bros Tour with Bio Hazard, Krazie Bone and Old School fuckin TWIZTID!!!!!!!!! At the Cobo Arena in downtown Detroit, oh and we actually sat in fuckin SEATS up in the left balcony. haha They tried to do an “Arena” tour on that tour after the big blow up and starting to get huge with TONS of new fans during that time.
What a great time and great memories that album has for me…

Miss the energy and more shouting style back then. This was the last cd the real ICP made :( Untill Phantom EP.
Speaking of EPs I recently been listening to the old EPs again. Forgot how much I love “Ninja” , “Amy’s in the Attic”, “the smog” and “when I get out” Hate to sound like an old cunt but there seriously was something unique about ICP in the 90s. Not one release from the 90s I don’t like

Fuck Yeah !!!! How could I forget than one, was obsessed with that track for years.
“I had a dollar left, I bought her Faygo Punch” – Man the beat is so sweet and cute but so sinister it’s the sort of music that makes me think of those old wind up jewellery boxes that had a little ballerina in side spinning around except I always see a life size one with some corpse dressed as the ballerina and in that pose with a rod up they’re ass and spine rotating on an old vinyl turntable in some dusty ass attic with the one little window

Wow, 17 years ago, holy shit! AJB is definitely an album that holds fond memories. I was turned onto ICP’s music in ’98 and basically only heard Forgotten Freshness and Great Milenko, which I played like daily. So AJB was the first new release for me and of course got it on it’s release date. Fuckin’ loved it of course, and I still consider it amongst their best. I was in 8th grade at the time and I lived in Ohio. As 8th graders, it was traditional for our field trip to be to Cedar Point. So we’re on the way to Cedar Point on a nice ass day ready to have some fun and I brought along AJB with me and was blasting it in my headphones thinking I was the shit and having a good time. Pretty much me and 2 other dudes were into ICP at my school. Everyone else either had no idea who they were or fucking hated them, or at least they acted that way. Anyway, I know none of this is very interesting, just saying AJB came out during magical times for me and I think most people have a fondness for the first album they buy on release date for a band they’re super into.

It is fucking freaky it’s that old the album itself is now older than I was when I first listened to it : (
Lets see how we differ, Everyone join in :D (man this is soooooo fucking hard):
BEST TRACK – I Want My Shit/ I Stab People
WORST TRACK – Nothing’s Left (that was easy one of their worst, mind you I never really any ending tracks on the albums so Im probably biased)

Really !!??
Don’t know if you takin the piss or not Smack :) but still each to their own :) I wanted to see how we differ.
I’ve just always found the last tracks on the album to kill an album and I just don’t really do reflective, soft tracks, have other groups and music for that. Deff not what I want from two serial killin clowns. To me it’s like buying a gory horror movie and then Adam Sandler comes on at the end and makes you think about what you’ve just seen : D Its like watching a Friday 13th film and having the last fithteen minutes of Jason telling you what he’s doing is wrong and that actually it’s just a story and actually he doesn’t really want to kill but he was picked on by other kids and is forced to avenge from beyond the grave by a nasty bully, a man named the devil and he misses his dead mum and no one will serve him at clothing & hardware stores etc

Best Tracks(s) – Terrible, Everybody Rize, Echo Side
Worst Track(s) – Bitches, Another Love Song, Shaggy show
Although those “Worst Tracks” are still dope songs IMO.
Whole album is dope.
Nothing’s left is the 2nd best outro song next to “Pass Me By” from Milenko.

sorry but the worst track ever IMO is the shaggy show what a waste of snoop dogg they paid him 75K for that too, its the one song I always skip on that album.
Yeah… it get’s skipped a lot for me too.
The novelty of the song wore off after 2 or 3 listens.
I still like to show people though.
