i always sorta liked talib kweli. i remember years and years ago i was listening to one of his songs and he dissed icp which rly pissed me off. for years tho i could nvr remember what song it was but i finally found it the other day
its called prime example

me saying "get the picture, i'll twist your sister" isnt a diss.. its just a clever way to give somethin a shout out.. or a diss depending on what's said.. just reading that quote it sounds like it could go either way.. let me post up the full track..

edit: yeah idk its kinda hard to say cuz its immediately after the chorus which would indicate they're the type hes referring to.. but at the same time that could just be coincidental considering everyone else in the verse he mentioned wasnt referenced in any sort of negative way.. but i guess that could be taken either way.. idk.. i wouldnt lose any sleep over it but would be interested in talib's explanation.. & in talib's defense clearly this is a "battle rap" type track hence my twisted sister line which would be aimed at the imaginary opponent/weaker mc and not the people being referenced..

I've always wondered if in Gatman and Robin (the Eminem and 50 cent song) if 50 Cents line "Nigga you get it twisted, you gon' get your wig splitted" was a diss, but I think it's just coincidence.

I never understood why 2PAC was so mad at Chino myself. Dude made a reference, Pac flipped out on it. Chino has always been one of the better rappers out there that nobody seems to give a fuck about.
I have to ask though, why did people in Jersey give a fuck about what 2Pac had to say? Curious

maybe pac was the glue that mightve had them come across that way cuz they def fell off.. i know they did a lot of solo shit & some were killed.. i think EDI was involved in most if not all of pac's posthumous albums....

And y'all its not a diss really. Like @the-warlock said, its merely a reference. A play on words. Like saying "I ain't fuckin Eminem but I melt in yo mouth" or something equally as stupid. Using a well known reference to create a rhyme. And I doubt he even was referring to the ICP. He probably meant simply circus ringmasters and regular circus clowns. They've been popular for hundreds of years. You could similarly say "I'm the CEO so fuck my subordinates!" I dunno I'm beat lol
