was there any news about a new Purple Gang album at the Gathering or any Legz sightings?…haven’t heard from him for a while and he wasn’t on The Missing Link or much of the new shit at all lately

only thing i heard bout legz was at the icp seminar.
they basicly said they dont know whats up with him, just that hes off somewhere, doin somethin.

I bet he will. I mean, they made a point at the seminar to say that there was no falling out or anything like that. He has always gone off and done his own thing, but eventually ends up doing something with psychopathic again.

Want to point out that Legz gets a shout out in the song “Juggalo Party,” so clearly it’s not the case that he wasn’t on the cd over some sort of beef.

yeah I noticed that after making this post lol…I can respect him wanting to do other stuff but I do hope they do another Purple Gang project and put a bit more time/effort into it…and as much as I dig Young Wicked singing on ICP’s shit I gotta hear Legz on more ICP in the future

As much as I thought that Purple Wang album was trash I hope Legz sticks around. He’s on the same level as MEC in my book.

Legz’s album would’ve been better without the whole “Purple Gang” concept. If he would’ve done his own thing without another gimmick. I feel like it would’ve been a lot better.

he dropped an album of legz diamond songs. cant ask for much more.
I just think there was a bit too much influence from J in the studio…some of it worked others not so much but that’s just my 2 cents…I still got songs from it that I listen to but as a whole album I just think it could have been done better…hope they do a follow up though for sure

i mean, ill buy it, but its not something im hoping for. they did their thing; unless they got a lotta fresh new ideas, i say let it stand for itself.

I stil have yet to hear a single snippet of The Purple Gang. Probably pretty dope in my prophetization, seeing as how I love Jumpsteady, Legs and don’t mind Sugar Slam most of the time.

I’m not saying he shouldn’t have had help I just mean that a lot of the album just felt like J with Legz singing…that’s cool n all but I would have liked to hear more input from Legz creatively I guess…ironically I also think the album could have benefited from a J verse from J himself rather than just appearing on choruses here and there…I feel like some songs were done real well and others were kind of a misfire for me…just my opinion though like I said I still enjoy listening to it occasionally

Just got through playing 9 Pistolas after about a year of not hearing it. Man, it’s getting better with age. Isn’t that odd? How some albums are awesome at first but then get dull later, and another album is just meh at first but then later on is totally dope as fuck? Truly diggin 9 Pistolas. I want another Legz Diamond album. Keep the 1930’s gangster gimmick. It’s awesome.
