A few of ya'll mentioned something about them touring was doubtful.. Well thats false.. becuz the tour was booked, and the first date was in Cleveland Ohio, And i was attending said show… and shortly before the show was to happen… the whole tour was cancelled as it was announced that esham had left the label… damn shame if you ask me

my main complaint was that it was too repetitive…Furious anyways…not just the subject matter but the way they put together the songs…Shaggy should have been doing more then just screaming on every hook and doing dj cuts…I actually liked Lavel with SV but never was a fan of his solo material…plus he's got a fucked up, hater personality that I can't cosign…I do feel Esham, J, and Lavel blended well together though…It Ain't Safe No More honestly I'm not a fan of aside from 2 or 3 of the REAL SV songs (aka not the Esham/Lavel songs that they just called SV) like Everyday, Slow Your Roll, and It's Going Down (not sure if thats the exact name but something like that
I would have rather seen Esham in Lotus than ABK but I suppose either way it would have ended up falling into the “cursed 7th” situation

I have one Lavel album, “Attack Of The Klones Volume 1”, I like it, thiers some bad ass jams on thier. I never understood why Lavel called his fans Klones tho. I liked Lavel, I would have loved to hear a whole solo Psychopathic Records release. It sucks thier was a falling out with him & them.
Esham in Dark Lotus would be epic. I still like ABK in Lotus & I hope that he gets brought back into it for the next album. I never understood why thier was only 6 members of Lotus. A lotus flower can have way more then 6 pedals on it, so why not add more then just 6. I was hoping that Boondox would have beome a member, that would have been awesome.

It was always my opinion that Lotus should only consist of PSY members from Detroit. So that would cut out Boondox. While I love ABK and Black Rain is my favorite DL album fo some reason I only want the 5 members in Lotus.
I have heard about Esham being offered a spot. I just wish he took it. Even if for just the one album.

Actually he did take the spot for a brief time in 2000. Only one song was ever created. That was the original version of “Whut!” which will be officially found on the “Bootleg” From The Lost Vault Vol.2 Compilation which is rumored to come out later this year.

So where does the Marz version stand at with you carnivalkilla44? Esham shouldn't of been included in Lotus how he currently is he would demand credit for thinking of it first he didn't for you dummies out there.
While I don't personally care for Marz (or is it Mars?) his version of TFTLP shits all over the re-release.

I just hated how it sounded when they mixed ABK's vocals into the songs…the mixing job sucked and it was very obvious how out of place he sounded due to it…he was a better fit on Black Rain but personally I've never cared for ABK in Lotus…like I said above I'm happy with ICP, Twiztid, and Blaze

I thought SV was a cool little side project. Wish the Soopa Heroes would have made a release or something. Some of the songs are annoying as fuck and some songs I really like. Definitely could have went somewhere with this project if that were their intentions. Like some dope ass action figurines or something. Shaggys always been screaming, but maybe its a little more noticeable when its pounding in my car.

I loved the Soopa Villianz & the comic book super hero gimmick, but I grew up & still am a comic book fan. X-Men is my fav, espically this altenate reaility steroline where Professor X dies before starting the X-Men so Magneto start the X-Men & is actually a good guy, it changes everything about the original steroline & its intristing as hell. Anyways, you can tell with my X-Men rant Im a comic geek, so I loved SV & I wish it would have turned into as big of a project as they original hyped it to be. Thier was suppose to be a SV comic book series, action figures, a tour with super hero like effects & all that shit. It did shock me that they brought Lavel in, but after hearing it, I actually liked the way he fit in. I wish the Soopa Heroz would have happened to, Im still curious to know who was gonna be in it & what thier soopa powerz were gonna be. It would have been utlra fresh.
As much as I liked SV as a comic gimmick, I would have still loved to hear ICP & Esham release a full length album together without the comic gimmick, just as ICP & Esham.
Good to see I'm not the only one who enjoys X-Men. I got this sick ass Nightcrawler figurine, along with a few other comic villains/heros. But I think Soopa Heros was gonna be Twiztid, Blaze and ABK. I remember seeing pics with ABK in a SH t-shirt if anyone sees one, post it. A tour would have been fresh and a graphic novel of some sort would have been cool as shit.

idk if id say it was a club sound though I know that's what many people label it…I look at it as being a parody of the modern trends in rap music at that time with J being the baller, Lavel being the pimp, Esham being the black militant (fuck the white man and government) type rapper, and Shaggy was the Lil Jon type that just screams a bunch of crazy shit on choruses about how amazing they are…as far as it being club music I couldn't imagine hearing too many of those songs in the club (maybe I Shot the DJ and a few others)…if anything its good for the whip when ur just driving and need something loud and gangsta and you left the Rydas cd's at home lol
