The last time Kool Keith performed in Kansas City, at Czar in April 2011, the Bronx rapper did not bring along a DJ. The music tracks backing his rhymes reportedly came from a guy pushing the tiny circular buttons on a Sony Discman that was hooked up to an amplifier. That struck me as pretty hilarious when I heard it recently, so I made it a priority to get to the Riot Room last Friday to see what obsolete technology he might have in store for us this time around

PRJ I kinda don’t get your hate for AMB. Not every Juggalo is down with Madchild , yet you’ve been swinging off Mad’s nuts this past year or so. I mean every time Madchild announces he’s going to go rip a fart somewhere in the States, you post a news story about it. Mad has turned into a bit of a grumpy bitch at live shows. I’d have a way better time hanging with Juggalos at an Axe Murder Boyz show these days, then attending a Madchild solo show. Mad just goes on and on about his “give me a 100 bucks to be my friend” fanclub the whole show now. Shit’s weak.
