The Green Book has been hard to find for many years and a track on it was even featured on Cryptic Collection 4, but it went up for sale again on hatchetgear.com for a few weeks (it isn't anymore) so I got it and now that I have it I'm wondering if I should open it or keep it sealed. I wanna open it but if it's vintage memorabilia now I'd rather keep it pristine.

Q: Is Green Book rare? A: No, but the 2003 printing is uncommon/most desirable. If you are trying to retain maximum collecter value by keeping the piece sealed, this is the one you want. If it's a reprint I recommend opening it.

The bad thing is there is no way to tell if its teh reprint unless you open it and see the booklet.  It still says 2002 on both the original and reprint.

The difference is the booklet.  On the OG it has that clear page on the front of the booklet with Mono and Jamies faces with facepaint and when you pull it away, you see their faces with out it.

It wont sell either.  I see alot of PSY albums on ebay for high price.  I see alot of Dog Beats with a Buy it Now for $80-$100.  You can go back a month later and check that sellers items and it will still be there.  No one is gonna pay those prices.  I see ppl on there trying to sell The mighty death pop albums for like $20.  I even see ppl trying to sell the re-issued x-rated Tunnel of Love for $20-$30 or more and tell you its the original.

No'd.

Every reprint is issued a new SKU number. Find the SKU from the original and look at yours it will look something like PSY-00234. If it's an unopened copy the SKU is always on the theft deterrent sticker. Otherwise it's mostly on the bottom of the track listing. Some CD's have them printed directly on them too. So if you buy something rare check the CD to make sure the numbers match up. It's like a serial number everything has to match up or it's BUNK.

They re-issued Tunnel of love X-rated and it has the same number.  PSY 1015x.  Therefor, looking for the number on some cd's wont do you any good.
