Fuck it, he is a better artist off Psychopathic… He doesn't have to pretend to be a redneck rapper, now he can just be an artist from georgia instead. his music seems more him off of the label.

I don’t get people who really care if he’s on psy or not, it’s not about the label, but the music. And I agree, most of the shit I really enjoyed from him was in Rydas. That’s what his style was before. He should stick to that. But he won’t. The gimmick they gave him is what sells his music. It might be pretty whack to alot of us, but to alot of other people it’s the shit. Violent J is a genious, put a southern gangsta rap artist on their label, everybody goes “ok, been there seen that” no matter almost how hard he spits. But give him a crazy redneck gimmick and a small but loyal click of people attach to it and that shit sells. As far as Boondox himself goes, he seems like a cool ass dude that keeps shit real from what I can tell. I might actually be meeting him in person next week.

His old shit just ain't what I was digging, I'm not into the gangster rap at all. It's why I love Psy but hate just about every other rap out there. Boondox was my favorite artist on the label aside from Twiztid, Krimson Creek is one of my favorite albums Psy's ever put out, absolutely loved that straight dark wicked shit.
I'm all for him doing what he feels is best for him and his family. But when he says he's leaving the label so he can stay closer to home, with his family, and then goes and pulls something like this it's just kinda weak.
