I love the contrast going from Hate Her to Death then Skreeeem. HHtD brings you to such a low place, then that super short hocking spit transition(which to me is kinda like getting rid of the negative feelings HHtD brings), and right away your thrown into the energetic upbeat greatness that is Skreeeem. It isn't my favorite track on the album but that's like saying the Jeckel Bros. isn't my favortie jokers card, doesn't make it any less awesome. Overall I think MDP is my favorite ICP album to date to be honest.

I think the message is brilliant. At points, it's pretty much a big ole wake up call to the whole “drug bridge” phenomenon come to be associated with the Cave-In-Rock venue. Smurfin, bein crazy reckless, alla that. That's what the subculture has come to be “known” for, which is likely why my crew (who have been to every single gathering) got offered more drugs than ever before from the jump this year. I mean, we weren't even in the lot of 5 minutes and got offered heroin, coke, you name it. There was a time when it wasn't about that, when kids didn't even really drink at shows or the gathering. Before we were just content to dumpster dive off the roof or flash a handful of speeding tickets obtained on the way there. It was more adventurous than reckless. And a lot less risky. How far it has come. I ain't hatin, I'm just asking, “Are YOU reckless?” That's a very valid question for half the folks we see grace the carnival grounds these days. Bringing them back to the light amid the insanity is what it's all about. Hence, the MDP is really strong and really legit in my book. One of my favorite releases to date, partially based on the social context alone.
