Anyone ever notice how during the faygo Armageddons J usually stays on stage for the whole thing but Shaggy is quick to get off stage when the juggalos come on it? My theory for this is shaggy has quite the criminal record and I had a friend who used to work for them so I know he’s involved in several fights on stage. My guess is his lawyer basically said no more and told to get the fuck outta dodge to avoid getting any charges or lawsuits. J is always up there chillin but even when shaggy stays he usually has bodyguards up there trying to keep people off of him. Any thoughts?

never seen shaggs get in a fight during armageddon, never seen ‘bodyguards’, and thinkin on it, never seen him dip out especially early, either. just seems that way sometimes, cuz j tends to hang around a lot longer these days.
back when [when you didnt buy a spot on stage, but rather climbed up there whenever you felt like it was a good time], they would both bounce as soon as it was clear that everybody was comin. literally finish the show from the green room, while we tore the place up.
im sayin, before ‘juggalo armageddon’ had a name, j and shaggs were generally not a part of it at all.

when i was part of the faygo armageddon during the riddlebox tour shaggy was onstage just in the back.
maybe it was because of his bad back?
i know if i had chronic back pain i wouldn’t want a pack of wild juggalos bumping into my ass and knocking me around.
who knows… now that he is a healed man, maybe he will start to participate with the rest of the class.

rumor has it j punched someone on stage in Vancouver.
Shaggs stayed up for almost the whole armageddon in Victoria.

Never seen shaggy stay up there for barley half the last song and he ducks out quick

a reviewer at the Buffalo show said he saw J,Shaggy and Bill jump into a van behind the club and drive off before the last song had finished.

Oh, the good ol days, back when we didn’t call ourselves a family but acted much more like one than alot of juggalos do now.

I can’t recall while LOOKING RIGHT AT HIM THE WHOLE TIME, Shaggy having jumped off stage to beat someone down. Am I missing some point of reference that this is some old video (such as when Shaggy DID stomp a guy in the head with his boot that was starting shit in the crowd (a LONG ass time ago)?

They do that at almost every show. I think avoid getting bombarded with request for pics and autographs. They leave before the crowd can get out of the building.

During the infamous 2001 Toledo stage rush, an acquaintance’s friend tried to rip off Violent J’s hatchet charm and got punched in the face. He was actually elated.
“I got punched by Violent J!” He was said to remark.
For some a black eye is a better souvenir than a photograph. More visceral.

They both ended up in the crowd at the Vancouver show, I was right up front. J climbed off the stage next to me and walked about 20 feet into the crowd and started punching some guy in the face. Then Shaggy jumped down and that’s where the TMZ footage started
