Shaggy’s entire 20+ year career really has produced zero mind blowing rhyme schemes that i can think of. sadly.
but he does have a good delivery, hilarious punch lines and can rhyme on beat. also he can rap about serious topics if need be.
i guess i’d say his best lyrical performances are the songs “Headache” (lotus)” and Pass me by
shaggy’s best lyrical LINE “walkin through compton and watts, beating scrubs up/ right in tim dogs face I throw the dubs up, we tear the clubs up…”
not only a funny line dissing Tim dog but a lyrically on point line too.
