I support ICP in almost any decisions they make… but lying to juggalos to get out of some dates is pretty low. I gotta say I’m disappointed in them after hearing this news

The off probation in 2013 was for the home invasion thing. But what ever happened with the DUI where the results of the blood tests came back in 2014? Maybe this is related to that one?

Do some places do probation for DUI? Here they pretty much just bleed your bank account dry, and send you on your not-so-merry way with ridiculously expensive insurance rates to deal with on top of all the fines.

This message was sent from my Atari 2600 through fiber optic cable made of fucks I no longer give.

Well it’s easy to pull, and people don’t really look into it, so they can say it as much as they want. “Welp, first weeks record sales came in, fuck this shit!”

Yep. Damn near 18,000 in the first week is pretty awesome by today’s standards.

It’s not really that great.  The #1 album for this week is Zac Brown Band and they sold 228,000.  #2 is Josh Groban and he sold 180,000.  Sales aren’t what they were 10 years ago but artists can still move records.  Usually the first week is the strongest and it cuts in half by the second week, so if ICP sold 17,000 the first week, that means it might be around 8,500 next week, and then down from there.  Not exactly a huge success, even for an underground band.  Compared to what they’ve sold in the past, it’s definitely not what J or Shaggy would be happy with.

As for the instores, if the DOC says he’s not on probation, he’s not on probation.  ICP lied to get out of the instores for whatever reason.  I’m sure they’ve lied to us in the past but this time they got caught.  Whatever the reason, it’s not exactly been the best year for ICP.

Recent bones:

>KJC preoders late bone

>>Lenticular cover bone

>>>Preorder late bone [18k is odd since someone said they were back 70k; which means someone typo’d or someone lied]

>>>>Canceled in store tour bone.

Something here is very wrong and I’m not sure it’ll be very pretty when/if we ever find out what the shit is going on.  Someone is most likely lying and not to mention there might be other shadowy, shady bullshit that needs figured out.  Maybe 86 is right; maybe this “fam” bullshit is just that:  Bullshit.

To make this slightly less negative and end on a more positive note: at least House of Wax, TMML: Lost and hopefully Found were physical releases and they’re still releasing them.  There was some mention after TMDP that they “might not release physical copies anymore.”  Once that happens, I’m done, and I hope they at least have the decency to finish out the current deck before doing that bullshit.  I’m with Alice Cooper on the stance that the growing niche market of vinyl is due to people getting sick of buying “air.” [ie, digital copies on iTunes and Amazon]

@psyral-infection hit the nail on the head. If you go back and check the DetroitNews post, it has been updated with accurate info.  J-Webb called me about it to give me a head’s up that it was about to be changed. It’s due to the probation (18 months) that he had for the April 2014 DUI.  Although I didn’t believe it at first, it’s completely legit.

Like I said before, I wish they’d release more stuff vinyl. I’d def. pick up a first six boxset on vinyl.

They really didn’t go all out promoting this either, not saying that would have had a huge impact either way but still

I called up about a month ago to the store to in Columbus to see what was needed. This was right after dates were posted, the lady who answered said she alone had about 100 calls the past 2-3 days asking if tickets or anything were needed. The turn out couldn’t be that bad. I wonder what the real deal is?

Check the updated article, in 2014 he was sentenced to 18 months probation as part of a DUI, also the turn out wasent a problem, at the silverdale one there were ALOT of people, and the merch guy(who was hella cool) told me that they were selling out of alot of the stuff they brought and he was a little overwhelmed

The result of the blood test supposedly showed “various substances”. He takes medication for his neck injuries. He may be supplementing his prescribed medication with some self-prescribed things. Just speculating, though.

I’m starting to believe that the move to RED was a stupid decision and they’re beginning to realize it.  J could have done it without Shaggy, but he couldn’t and/or wouldn’t do it only to have 20 people able to get in because the supply and demand was outta whack.

They should charge 15$ min to get in and bring a merch booth. Basically you spend 15$ at the merch booth and get a wrist band to do the meet and greet. That way people who already got the album don’t have to buy it again and the store doesn’t have to have 400 copies of TMML either. Problem solved and shaggy ain’t on no probation.

The rest of the instore tour was cancelled because they sold out of cds!!

That’s why the preorder was fucked up too!!

ICP didn’t get enough physical copies pressed up to meet the demand!

Since Twiztid left Psychopathic’s budget has been greatly reduced, and it’s all fucked up!

Put the fork down Violent J!

Put the fork down.

Yup, the reason they cancelled the instore wasn’t because Shaggy’s probation problems kicked him in the ass yet again but because J is fat (still) and Psychopathic is having a downfall because Twiztid left. Thanks for clearing that all up, man. If it wasn’t for you I would have to speculate and make assumptions that would sound a lot like me talking out of my ass.
