Does anybody else wish PSY would do this? I love Beverly Killz, Terror Wheel and Tunnel Of Love but you cant really bump them becuz the volume is so low. I was just listening to "Stomp" from the Old Shit CD and it sounds awesome remastered.
I know I'd buy them if they did

the newer pressings of the eps have all been remastered just like islands versions of coc and ringmaster. atleast i think they have. are yours the og versions(first/second pressing)?

As long as they dont cut the old school freshness out of them,I got a zip file of Beverly Kills a few yrs ago and the freestyle they did at the end of 17 dead was cut from the song,I love that freestyle so if they remaster the EPs,They need to keep them complete,Thats the only real problem ive ever had with remastered albums.

Mine are the Island pressing's and they're not remastered. Island never bothered with the EP's, just COC & Ringmaster

You have to understand you can only
Re-master Lo Fi sample based music
Only so much by today's standards.
Sure it would be louder and more crisp
But at some point it WILL get distorted.
Best re-master of one of these types of songs
I ever herd was "Holla if ya hear me" by
2pac on the resurrection soundtrack V.S.
The original from back in the day...Top notch
and sounded like a diffrent song sonically.

oh, yeah. starting with the final product and working back, you can only get so far.
instead of 'works for me,' i maybe shoulda said; 'better than nothing.' i originally did it to balance out the levels versus the rest of the songs on my mp3 player, so quality was less important than overall volume.
you can find simple dsp programs that work fairly well. i thought the one i used to use was called WAVwalker or something, but that didnt come up in a search.
all in all though, id also rather get it from the source.
