I haven’t done Ballas in a few years but this next year I may do it again just to get in early and not deal with the hassle of finding a spot. Worth $400? Probably not. Wish they had water at the Ballas sites. Also, going in early means missing the parking lot party which is always fun.

So, pretty much, what will happen is that everyone will try to ride in with someone who has a Big Balla site, so they too can set up early. Or they will send in their tents (or at the very least, caution tape) with the people who have Big Balla sites, so the people inside can set up their camps for them. That’s not gonna be a cluster fuck at all.

Hopefully they will tell people to take down the tape. They did that this year, eventually. When we finally got in, they were going around making people remove security tape and telling them they cannot be staking out sites for people not there yet. Some people had set up tape for like 10 campsites.
I hope they completely ban the caution tape thing. It has made the gathering too clique-ish. GATHER HARDER PEOPLE. Meet new people. Roam around and find your old friends if you want.
If Legend Valley clearly marks the Ballas sites and one pass gets you one and only one site and no putting up tents outside of your Ballas site then there should be no issue. By the time the first Non-balla gets in, there should be nothing but the Balla sites occupied.
Doubt that is what it will be. But that’s what I would do if I were King… you muthafuckers wouldn’t have to worry about a damn thing. I got this bitch! Shit’s under control!
