This is a spinoff of the albums topic. I was gonna post a list there but there's just so damn many albums, I couldn't keep up with myself.

Obviously I believe that sometimes, an artist sounds better on a particular album than another, but this is just a summarized list. I'm also curious to see what other ninjas' opinions are around here.

1. Monoxide Child
Whether it be Twiztid or Lotus or Chainsmoker or his epic part on Psypher 4, Mono just always has a chill flow that never fails. I'm rarely disappointed with him and I don't need to say much else.

2. Myzery
Call me biased, but he is one of the most underrated OGs around. Obviously after 2002 (I highly suggest finding the Four Faces of Myzery collection) his production started to falter and it screwed with his talent. But he's a very good lyricist and Demon/Angel will be absolutely solid once its out, especially since he's collaborating with Psychopathic again.

3. Shaggy 2 Dope
I personally like his deliverance style over J's. Lyrically he's on the same page as his partner, but I dunno. Just my opinion.

4. Violent J
Personally, I think J is on absolute fire when he's on a track with others. I haven't given his solo shit any spins in awhile, but he just seems to make anyone sound better, and that is unmatched talent.

5. Blaze Ya Dead Homie
Colton Grundy is my favorite Psy album, and I do prefer his older shit. But the new Drive-By EP got me interested again. I think Blaze can be a little deeper with his themes, but he does try. His soulful singing in some choruses (interestingly he rarely does this solo) is just haunting at times and gives me chills.

6. Jamie Madrox
I didn't like Madrox's voice when I first heard Twiztid 10 years ago. But I got over it after a number of years, and I don't know why to this day that I ever disliked him. Maybe its because I thought Mono was just a lot superior at one point, but as I got older, my views changed.

7. The R.O.C.
My only complaint is that when he opened up for Blaze earlier this year, he played 3 songs, then did "Hello" and left. Duh fuck. He needs to drop Digital Voodoo already. Not to mention he's a very solid producer.

8. Jumpsteady
In terms of his creativity, he is a genius. I loved both albums of his, and also his creative works on the comics and board game (I really want that game). I'm glad his input is back in force and I wonder what he'll come up with next. He would be the first choice consultant to work on a video game with. Hmm.

9. Anybody Killa
He comes out best in Drive-By and Lotus. I'm on and off about anything else he's done. He is a staple without a doubt though.

10. Vanilla Ice
A lot of ninjas won't rank him high but with the right mindset, he performs well. Mind Blowin' is fucking sick, but WTF had its potholes. Dunno what will come next outta him though, its a tossup.

11. Zug Izland
Syn is an awesome vocalist and he can write some deep themes, while Mike P has very good production and guitar skills (even if his riffs are a little simplistic sometimes). Even though the two are the driving force of the band, I gotta give props to Pig and Nester for sticking around.

12. Esham
I respect him like hell, but I'm only familiar with 5 of his albums. He had talent but slipped away after awhile. I think a number of people here either love or hate him though.

13. DJ Clay
His remixes and mashups are dope at times, but aren't too essential in my opinion. I dislike his own songs though.

14. Boondox
Punkinhed and Harvest are the only ones I like. I've tried countless times to get into him but its just not my taste.

15. Marz
I'm only including him because Lotus Pod OG is my second favorite Psy album. He did a great job on it, and that para-wickedness vibes from those sessions are amazing. I've attempted to give his solo shit a listen, but it just sounded lifeless to me; however, I loved the work he did with Ministry. But that's just the industrial side of me, and that was mainly Al anyway.

16. Cold 187um
A respected vet without a doubt, but I only dug maybe 3 songs off the new album. I enjoy older west coast gangsta rap (Da Lench Mob and Onyx come to mind with the quickness) so maybe I would appreciate him more if I got into Above the Law.

17. Lavel
I don't like his flow at all. He just doesn't have enough energy in him but maybe I would like shit he hasn't done with Psy.

00. Mike E Clark
Null. Yep.

Y'all can shoot suggestions but I don't know enough about these artists to rank:

V-Sinizter (never heard a good thing about him anyway)
MC Breed (heard random 90s tracks)
Legz Diamond (gonna get the album soon mainly cuz of Jumpsteady)
Sugar Slam (see above)
Project Born (only had the older EP so I can't judge mainly on a few songs)
Motown Rage
Axe Murder Boyz
The Dayton Family

I'm expecting very diverse responses, so lets fuckin' see 'em!

All of them are great, some better then others. Otis is the shit right now! Young Wicked the mixtape is awesome. thats a real mixtape! Madrox is the best mc to be on psychopathic so far. Myzery is dope shit for the year or 2 he was on psychopathic, and his shit off the label still is dope.Violent J's Wizard of the hood is a classic MacGruber!!! The GOTJ08 cd is crazy as hell and The Shining has some amazing songs, 14 years old is my facorite off it. FTFO is the best solo cd tho between Violent J and Shaggy tho. that cd is one of my favorites of all time. Blazes cds are always good from 1 less G to Clockwork Grey, even Gang Rags has some fresh tracks. All Of ABK's cds on Psychopathic are good, besides some songs on Mudface. Boondox is the shit. ive bought all of his 4 cds on psychopathic the harvest was okay, punkinhed is awesome, Krimson Kreek is amazing, and South of Hell blew my hat off. its like boondox kept getting better.

Esham is the shit off Psychopathic or on, it doesnt matter he kills it. Zug Izland is probaly the best rock band to be on psychopathic, i mean there was ZI and motown rage. and that one band that was on psychopathic in the 90s i think, i forgot what they where called PHI i think. DJ Clays Let Em Bleed are all good as hell just so many good songs on them, i hope book of the wicked 3 comes out this year. The ROC has one cd on hatchet house Welcome to the darkside which i bought at the Lotus tour in 08 with no ROC at the show, pretty fuckin GAY! but the ep cd is good. DARK LOTUS is the shit and always will be! Tales from Lotus Pod is my favorite Marz of ABK their both good, Black Rain is as good as Tales from Lotus Pod, Opauqe brotherhood was crazy as hell pretty fuckin wicked in my book, the masks they used on stage reminded me of Jeepers Creepers.  AMB's cds are good as fuck, on or off psychopathic! Unforgiven Forest is the best I think. then Gods Hand

1)madrox: all in all, the most consisten/talented in the history of psychopathic

2)violent j: tough not to place him #1, but ever since the end of the first jokers deck he's nowhere near what he once was.so while nobody is touching J in his prime...its not 97 anymore

3)monoxide: dude is a beast.should really be placed above J if looking at talent/consistency throughout their whole careers

4)shaggy: by no means the greatest rapper ever, but i think we all have a soft spot for shags.always enjoy his work, even though its usually not mindblowing.

as far as the rest of the roster...no comment

musically open minded in the sense that i listen to a wide variety of music and enjoy practically every genre except country...yes

open minded in the sense of forcing myself to listen to any untalented act psychopathic puts out just because its on [email protected] dont have the patience alot of you demonstrate with psychopathics rosterembarassed

i do like zug izland though...forgot to mention them.

interesting to see you say you dont think shaggy writes his own shit...whys that?...i strongly disagree, i think his writing style/content has been pretty consistent throughout their whole career in the same vein...

Shaggy almost certainly does not write most of his shit. Look at FTFO, most of those songs are credited in the booklet as written by ICP, while only a few say written by Shaggy 2 Dope. Another good example is the original version of the song Whut, it had two verses by J. Then when the album dropped Shaggy re-recorded the second verse only changing one or two words.

As much as I think twiztid are fags and especialy now that I read they are planning a Canadian tour with some homo called Macklemore I would rate Monoxide as the best rapper that was ever on Psychopathic so here's my top 10.

Monoxide

Violent J

Otis

Esham

Boondox

Madrox

shaggy

blaze

fuck it I only have a top 8

having otis as number 3 almost allows to me to disregard the highlighted stupidity... macklemore's doooope... & smh @ madrox being number 6... let alone below mono... fuck outta here

I'll just do top 5:

1)  Anybody Killa:  Flows are deep with some real mysticism and spiritual vibes.  Thinking man's emcee.  I don't understand why people hate on the Warrior... "While You're Sleeping" really got me into Psychopathic Records back in the day.

2)  Monoxide Child:  Tugging the emotional chords.  See LDLHA IBCSYWA.

3)  Violent J:  Wizard of the Hood is timeless.  I'll be bumpin' this one at 65 for sure.

4)  Jumpsteady:  "Thirteenth Skull."  Listen to it again.

5)  Myzery:  Lyrical wordsmith.  Love some bilingual wordplay when executed seamlessly, and I don't feel that he has reached his full potential.  I kinda feel the same way about Myzery that I had about Twiztid before they dropped "Abominationz"-- simply that they were on the edge of what they were fully capable of.

I'm an obvious outlier here, but it is what it is!
