Well, you picked up what I put down on the humor tip, that’s what “matters”, I guess. Everything else is simply you overthinking it. I suspect you’re guilty of that often.
While I appreciate the courtesy, there’s never any need for extra considerations on my behalf. When it comes to minding your obnoxiouness or otherwise “ripping into” me, feel free to do whatever you wish when the mood strikes. I’m not the guy who takes much of anything personally, and never to heart. It’s good that you consider the other for forumgoers- and you should- just not me personally. A man of my taste and proclivities has a hard time getting offended, so do you boo-boo.

The Gathering infomercial was supposed to be out before tonight’s show.Guess they ain’t doin’ one this year.
In truth, considering the feeble line-up they have booked, who can blame them…….
☕
Or… And this is just a guess based on literally everything they’ve ever done: they’re running late.

Infomercials are the worst. Wish they would just go away tbh.
That is an idiotic statement. The video team at Psychopathic has always put together a dope promo vid for the Gathering.
I especially dig the music montages. They seem to have a real knack for finding the dopest clips of the artists they have booked.
The Gathering was a such different story before that lame shit went viral. I just need a schedue, they can keep the cheese.
Shit went viral cuz the infomercials have been well done and entertaining.
Except last years’ effort.
Way too much J Webb in last years trailer. His bad acting reminds me of when I used to do dinner theater.

This is the latest ever……maybe they waitin’ on Vanilla Ice to pop by Detroit to film it or some shit……….
Purely speculation.

Everything with this gathering has been later than ever. You guys act like this lack of punctuality is new. They’ve said they got one coming. It was supposed to be “by the next juggalo show” and now it’ll probably be “by the next next juggalo show” lol. Or maybe this weekend. Who knows.
If it takes any longer, I hope they’ll just post up the full schedule and lineup this weekend, but in the mean time we just gotta sit tight.
And what do you care anyway? you ain’t goin.

I wasn’t able to attend before the infomercials became a thing but i fail to see how they alter the event in a significant way.
“Tourist” presence was much lower. Media was virtually non-existent. Locals would come, but 9 out of 10 attendants was Juggalo. The event was under the radar of photographers and lookie-loos and Buzzfeed, etc. It felt closer, more intimate if you will. Loosing the infomercials will probably never bring that back. You can’t unfuck a butt. Still, I have no love. Would love to see them vanish.
Edit: Milko, the only good video promo I remember was ’07. WFW Special Gathering Edition. It was informative and didn’t go viral. I know you have been to a whole Gathering and all, but you might not have enough insight here.

Dude. That’s a great way of explaining it. I’ve tried to tell people how different the gathering is now but either they were there and already know or they weren’t there and don’t really understand :'( The gathering is SO much different now, with tourists and ninjas posting everything to social media, it just completely changes the vibe. More like 999 out of 1000 were juggalos. Now like every fifth person is “I’m here with my boyfriend/roommate/for the sole purpose of doing drugs.” I haven’t been to all of the gatherings but the 10th stands out in my mind as the worst year (though still dope) and the year that things really changed. I think the documentary came out before the tenth and that brought in a lot of people who wouldn’t have been there otherwise, and the gathering has become really notorious (to the mainstream audience) since then.

Between Canadian Juggalo Weekend and ICP’s Canada tour last summer leading up to the Gathering,
I’ve seen ICP perform live 10 times in the last 12 months, all over our beautiful country.
Don’t be jealous homie.
You do you.
?
Nobody is jealous lol. Where do you come up with this stuff.
It’s a legit question. why are you upset that there isn’t a promo video if you ain’t going?
