So lately Ive been bumpin the Rydas again, and i wondered is there an estimate on how many units they have sold?

I know its under another “label” thats not psychopathic but there has to be a revenue.

If no money was made they wouldnt release more albums than lotus (i know its probably easier to record a rydas album)

Now seeing as little production is needed is it not a simple money grab?

They make a shit ton off rydas seeing as all music is stolen. However they don’t want the amount of sales known to the public. If one of the producers got butthurt after hearing how much they’ve made they could easily sue and win.

Pretty sure they probably pay all that money to actually pay off people busting their ass for stolen beats. I find it VERY hard to believe that it is as easy as making a fake label, then dissolving it.

I’m lookin at my copy of Dumpin’ right now, and it says Only 5000 made so hurry up…get one and get gone.

But we all know Violent J let it slip in an interview that once those 5000 copies of Dumpin’ were sold they re-pressed that bitch.

Check Your Shit In Bitch! was out of print for years, but they did eventually do a second pressing of that which sold out again on Hatchetgear.

Now all of the Rydas albums are out of print on Hatchetgear except the most recent 2- Eat Shit and Die, and Backdoor Rydas.

Once those are gone I doubt they will do a second pressing of those cds.

These days Psychopathic seems cool with letting a lot of their cd’s go out of print.

that way in 10 years they can do a rerelease and charge double for that shit hahaha

i got a copy of dumpin’ out of a bargain bin in a cd shop back in the day. still weirded me out cos i thought they never actually sold and copies of it. only gave that shit away.
