What up ninjas its ya boy Preachy and i want this thread to be my reviews for PSY albums. So periodically this will come up with my honest reviews of Psy or Psy related reviews first up 9 Pistolas.

Legz Diamond- 9 Pistolas
Ok I know there’s been mad hate on this album but I suggest you listen to the freshness that this disc contains. I am a fan of all kindsa music and lately have been gearing toward music with melody and edge and this CD has both. Its Legz Diamond and the Purple Gang. You may know Legz from the ICP he does a lot of background vocals hooks and skits or you may know him as the Main announcer in JCW or event as the RingMaster character at a live show. And the Purple Gang consists of Sugar Slam Psy’s Juggalette and interviewer. As Well as the don mega of Psy JumpSteady. Music you normally hear from Legz is what ICP has to say but this time Legz is speaking for himself and boy does he deliver a great set of tracks.
1. Intro (Featuring Bushwick Bill)- The guitar in this track is great but no singing just Bill ranting.
2. 9 Pistolas- This track talks about the 9 guns Mr. Diamond wears on his person and it’s a great upbeat track that really sets the bar for the rest of the cd.
3. Mary Jane- I don’t smoke but this song puts me in a great mood nice melodies all though out the song and Sugar Slam does a sweet rap at the end about her fresh crops. A highlite for me.
4. Feared And Respected-This one is a fresh very gangsta sounding track which tells of The Purple Gangs status around town. A fat bassline carries the song. This song is also a highlite with all members on it.
5. I'm Not Happy-The song of love lost kinda slower and very relatable.
6. Tommy Gun-This one will guarantee get the party started it has a Nine Inch Nails feel to it and even the delivery of the lyrics has a very NIN influence to it. Something we have never seen on a PSY album but definitely cool.
7. Made Man-This is the acoustic track that shows off some great melody from Mr. Diamond and the musically its awesome.
8. So Fresh (Featuring Cold 187um)-One of my Favorites on the cd this is my style. There is a Jazz descending bass line that just makes me smile. An appearance from Cold 187 adds hella flavorto an already fat song.
9. Anarchy-A song about how the Purple Gang runs things in the city. Song has some energy and experiments musically a bit.
10. Eternity Missed-Legz and Sugar Slam have a duet about two different worlds that cant be together and cant be apart What could be and what should have been. Good stuff.
11. Woody-The song that says He wants to be introduced to your Uterus I think that says a lot. The music is upbeat and will make you move.
12. Cocaine Cowboys-The Purple Gang runs the streets, brothels, clubs and all the state with the white girl known as Cocaine and they know how to push it. Great music with a flow that sounds like something out the 80’s but its great with all members.
13. Paradise Parade-An encouraging tale about not giving up cuz you can make it one day. Love this one even the Ringmaster character shows up in this one.
14. Not In Real Life-This song is very experimental in its music but focused in lyrics even a scrub can make it to the top but there’s always challenges.
15. Top Of The World-Another mostly acoustic song has a 60’s 70’s feel to it and it’s a nice happy track to end the album on no issues here. This is a great musical track.

Pro’s-Just phenomenal music all through out the cd. People had beef with Legz “singing off Key” but I didn’t hear that at all. Every song had perfect melody and great hooks. A huge mix of music and vocal talent.
Con’s-There should have been more of Jumpsteady on the cd. I would have like a little more story songs with Jump. I would also have like more rock style guitars some of the heavier guitars that he plays on ICP’s CD’s. but that’s the only thing I would change.
Overall this album satisfies very much. Ive had it for about 2wks and it has gotten mad rotation in my car where I turn it up and just cruise my streets feeling great. Don’t think that this is a flop but its not a hiphop  album or rock album but it does have elements of them. The music is diverse and meant for ninjas who can appreciate it when genre lines are mixed and blurred.

Feel free to comment. Cold 187's The Only Solution will be next.......laugh

Thats what i was thinking as i was writing it but no just wanted to show respect to Legz by calling him Mister but i could say Mr. Murrell but Mr. Diamond sounds cooler.

Cold 187-The Only Solution
I really don’t think this dude needs much of an introduction but here it goes: Cold 187 is a G-Funk producer who had his hand in Ruthless, Death Row and West World music and he has worked with Artists such as Easy-E, Dr. Dre, MC Ren, and 2Pac. He fronted the West Coast legend of a group Above the Law which as you know ICP has covered on several occasions. He linked up with Psychopathic in 2011 and a teaser Video was released with him spittin over the Assassins beat. This created a buzz and also created some hate when the announcement was made the Psychopathic Assassin would soon drop an album entitled The Only Solution. A tour and a Gathering later we got it. Many people hated on it but im here to speak some truth about this album. Here it goes.
1. "Born 2 Kill" "Follow The Leader" by Dark Lotus-This track opens the story up by telling a tale of a young boy with a father who kills for money and hes teaching him the bizniz until his dad is betrayed by The Black Swan which is his uncle. Shoots his pops in cold blood in front of him at only 13. Hutch vows to kill him one day. I really like the skits cuz it gives a great segue into the next track.
2. "Job Well Done" "Nervous" by Anybody Killa-This track shows how deep 187 is willing to go. Many years later he is now a killer like his pop and he is contracted to kill Father Duckets who many may know from BMH. Well he is a pedophile who needs his lights turned out. 187  Pulls out his resources and goes as far as becoming a deacon in the church Father Duckets runs. With the help of one of Cold’s broads he takes out the priest with a shot to the dome.
3. "Layn' Low" "So High" by Twiztid-I love the beat of course but Cold just killed it with this one in a good way. Cold has a great sense of melody and it shows here. This song is the relax for a minute party song cuz even killers gotta have time off but even though he’s getting his he will still take a call from the Company.
4. "An Offer He Can’t Refuse" "Murder, Murder, Murder" by Twiztid-Willy Broscoe a crime boss has to die because he’s messing with the wrong people and who better to do it than Cold 187. I really like how every kill has that sound effect from Kill Bill it really adds to the track. Got em in the Japanese Spa at his most relaxed.
5. "Swan Song" "Ka-Boom!" by Dark Lotus- Cold is on the hunt for Black Swan and he’s in Atlantic City. 187 is close to getting revenge but does quite get it.
6. "Judgement Day" "Deadman Walking" by Blaze Ya Dead Homie-This track Cold’s going after a Judge with no mercy. Of Course he knows ways to get the job done and he does. This kinda stays close to the OG chorus but of course has that Big Hutch smoothness.
7. "L.A." "Suicide Hotline" by Insane Clown Posse – The Assassin goes home for a bit to get some more sun and relax. You’d be surprised how West Coast a lot of these songs sound with Cold spitting on them. All elements are here on this track: melody, story and a fat beat.
8. "3 Brothers" "Chicken Huntin' (Slaughterhouse Mix)" by Insane Clown Posse-3 brothers known to do some dirt have been targeted by the Psy Assassin. This song has tons of energy but most who listen to ICP will know that. Each brother falls to 187’s deadly tactics.
9. "Swan Sighting" "Damn Bitch" by Blaze Ya Dead Homie-As he continues to hunt down the Black Swan he’s taken to Chi Town and is met with a set up by a dumb broad who sets him up to be taken out himself but as you know The Psy Assassin aint being taken out by some dumb broad. She got some slugs for the ruse.
10. "Capitol Hill" "Marsh Lagoon" by Twiztid-Cold takes the job of hitting a senator with dirty habits. This one is more complicated since he’s out in the open but manages to make the hit and get away.
11. "Interrogation" "Truth Dare" by Insane Clown Posse-This song is a glorified skit. I would have liked to here a song wabout what happened in the interrogation room not the actual guys talking but it does add to the story nonetheless.
12. "Alive & Free" "Last Chance" by Anybody Killa-Cold does very well over these ABK beats. He is talking to his son in this one and he’s happy he’s alive after this chapter’s action. Cold adds a lot of melody to this song he even sings the verse. Im not sure if his son knows what he does for a living but it will be cool to see how things develop in the next one.

Pros-The story telling on this album is phenomenal. When you listen to it its like watching a movie unfold, a Tarrantino movie to be exact. I think if they could make a script for this it would be a cool action movie. Cold adds his own smooth style on every beat making them his own.
Con’s-I would have liked to hear maybe a feature or two and the Interrogation track could have been a full track rather than a skit to a beat. I would really like to hear original beats too beats that they crafted for the story.
Overall-The production quality is really clean the vocals are crisp and you already know the beats are bangers. I still don’t understand everyone’s beef with Cold 187. The dude has great skills and he definitely kept my attention through out the cd.  Again I would have liked some Original beats that helped the story move. I know that he said he reserves og stuff for other projects but it would be cool to hear the story continue with some authentic West Coast gangsta ish. This is a great album don’t listen to the critics.

The Next Review will be on Charges of indictment by The Dayton Family.
