Well, PSY forgot how to sell merch. Lol, waited in line for an hr to be told they don’t have a majority of the shirts/jerseys they’re advertising. They haven’t had time to unpack them from the truck yet… Then why the fuck are you showing it for sale?!!!

They did the same for Cds, had the glass case out then put it away after people kept asking

Now I’m kinda glad my Seattle show isn’t until the end of the month. Hopefully they will have merch figured out by then. Might even scoop up a couple extras for ninjas that missed out but will be at DCGCON

Slamfest has it’s hight points and low points. The high being the clowns putting on a devastating set that ranks right up there with some of the best I’ve seem from them. The low being about everything else, lol.

All the openers sucked and the metal/rap mashup really didn’t do it when it came to keeping the hypeness rolling. Lyte opened, followed by sylar and toenail. No Ouija…

A lot of people came out for Atilla and they did seem like generally cool dudes. Just far from being music I can get into. The wife described them as frat boys, in jerseys, trying to make hardcore music lol. They said they beem doing it for 14 years so props for that.

All they had for merch were tshirts ($30), hats ($30), and jerseys ($125). Mind you they didn’t have half of what they were actual showing samples of. They actually did have a good amount of hoodies for all the 1st six and FFF ($60-70). No cds or any other accessory type merch. Early in the tour was the excuse I heard, but seriously. How long yall been in this game for? They mixed the VIP line for the merch with the regular line so the two ninjas working just kept serving VIPs first. Problem was, the majority up close to the merch booth weren’t VIP and were stuck waiting forever. They ask “who’s VIP” and some random juggalo in the back would be like, “I am” and we’d all have to wait till they made there way past everyone. Credit cards were getting declined left and right. At one point I evem yelled at the guy, “I have money and I want to give it to you”!

Anyway, i got good and drunk and in to the pit once the clowns took the stage. I haven’t been in the pit for some years now so that was exhilarating. I even managed to bite through my lip for good measure and had a mouth full of blood for the rest of the show. Tasty!

I won’t spoil the intro/stage setup, but just know, it’ll flip your wig back. Here’s what I remember of the setlist (in no particular order):

  1. Let’s Go All tha Way
  2. Tha People
  3. $50 Bucks
  4. Cotton Candy
  5. We Belong
  6. Falling Apart
  7. Toy Box
  8. Truly Alone
  9. Fuck tha World
  10. Hall of Illusions
  11. Hokus Pokus
  12. Bang Pow Boom

I’m drawing a blank on a lot of the rest, but I wanna say there was more from Shangri-La thrown in there and I even think Tempest. Really good (and different!) setlist.

Bout to grub some continental breakfast and check out of my hotel. Better shower first. I smell like cheap soda ninja

What’s Toenail’s live performance like?  He seems like more of a music video type dude.

I was bored by it. He has some good bars, but just kinda stands in one place on stage and raps into the microphone. Very monotone.

I saw Slamfest in Poughkeepsie, NY at the Chance. What a perfect venue!! This show was above and beyond what I expected! I’ve never seen an ICP show, from up above, along the front ledge of a Balcony. This is an old style theater house, it’s very Tiny (smaller than Worcester MA) So glad I didn’t give up my seat to go down on the floor, where I usually am.I figured fuck it, lemme watch them from up here for once.  Finally, When the lights came on and Revealed all the stage props and The way the clowns made their grand entrance! Happily as fuck, I was looking at everything I love, all rolled into 1! This show felt different…it was very intimate, ICP sounded so tight…good thought went into this set. Won’t get into too much details, don’t wanna ruin it for others who haven’t seen it yet. There was a common theme of Loneliness and Death (& self expressed toys!) thru the songs. For Me, this was more than just a great Show, Meaning, ie: If I had to pick an ICP show for my non Juggalo friends  to see, esp. for the first time, this would be the one. And the theater setting we were in?! Holy shit, I felt like I was literally watching a play!! The sound in that theater is perfect!  Lotsa creativity…perfect set list, Faygo n all! I did the meet n greet as well, as if it couldn’t of been any fresher than it already was! I love all this… When i’m home, not doing much…it’s the shit I wish…

ive tried a few times to actually watch an entire icp show from the balcony.  inevitably, i always rushed back downstairs at some point to mix it up.

cool to see from up there, but it feels kinda wrong, somehow.

maybe i should try it again.

  awfully paranoid, arent you?

I try to explain to the mrs that the faygo breaks are like a baptism at church. Just makes me feel good for some reason being in the middle of it. I hang in the pit for a while then step back to catch my breath and hang out with her. The shows are always excellent to watch from the sidelines. More often than not im back in the pit before its over tho. Tonight is my night all, pittsburgh show. Whoop Whoop!

Columbus show lastnight.

Lil Toe was fresh for what it was. I think that type of shit works well for juggalo events.

Ouija and lyte perform together as group? Im a fan of both these dudes music, but that shit just dont register with me live… I like to hear the words i guess lol.

The other bands/performers ….. Unnecessary. Thats not juggalo. Thats ticket sales.

Im a Juggalo. Im not down with meaningless  tough guy frat boy metal shit consuming 70% of the entire show!

I just wanna whoop whoop ya know?………

ICP super fresh like always. Love the setlist. Entrance was epic! Stage props new and fresh, clowns on point for the most part.

Things have really changed over the last 10-15 yrs… Shit is ugly, why does everyone appear to be gay emo trans and shit?! WHY?!

I wasn’t expecting it to sell out. But it is one of our smaller venues. Sitting out on this one.

I went to the woosta show and there were ups and downs. First it took them forever to open the doors and it was freezing outside , as for the show idk why lyte opened when he was on stage mad ninjas was still getting in. But no oujia set even though he came out when lyte was doing his set. This dude cage was a corny emo ass dude who I didn’t like at all. Attila was pretty cool and the fans that came for Attila were cool af and most stayed to see the clowns. Now this intro was fresh af one of the best I’ve seen and they played a few songs I never heard live before which I was happy about that. Other then that walked out the venue soaked in faygo and freezing my ass off but with a huge smile . That’s my take on slamfest whoop whoop! MMFWCL
