You ever watch those Gulleyboy “Suspect Rap Lyric” videos on youtube?  He hasn’t mentioned ICP in one of them yet (though he has said multiple times he is a fan), but he takes popular songs and picks out lyrics that sound extremely gay out of context.  Some of them were intended to sound that way, but a couple that I remember were

“I got 5 on it.”  Numskull says “I take sacks to the face whenever I can.”  The whole song is about weed so that’s clearly what he’s talking about in that line, but the wording makes it funny.

“Niggaz Nature” by Tupac.  He says “Picture me pay for pussy when the dick’s for free.” Now what he’s saying is that why should he have to pay for sex when the person he would be paying is also getting an enjoyable experience for free.  But it can be interpreted as him saying that female hookers are too expensive so he’d prefer to fuck guys.

Shit like that.  It’s amusing.  

That’s funny man. I have a friend who to this day still makes fun of the “I bang cock in Bangkok” line in “Area Codes”. I get what he’s going for, but, he had to know that would come off as gay. I’m willing to bet that’s been included in the youtube videos you’re referring to.

For “blow your magic on me”, I understand he’s referring to blowing a paralyzing powder or some shit. But, the verbiage is off. He says it in third person like “Hoodoo can you blow your magic all over me” and even though he’s referring to himself, it still sounds like he wants to be nutted on. There’s other ways to refer to blowing dust in somebody’s face or putting a spell on them that doesn’t come across as taking loads to the face. 

To make it clear, I like Big Hoodoo, just think he can do more with his gimmick and really play it up. I didn’t mind “Boom Boom Piggy”. If all of his songs were like that, I wouldn’t feel it. But that’s his one song with that sort of subject matter. He is a black man in Detroit, if that’s something he wanted to speak to then why let that one song be a turn off to some of you? Skip the song and shut the fuck up.

To Scrufff, man I forgot how ignorant some Juggs can be. The ones that wont listen to “Fuck My Dad” lol… that is humbling to hear. 

I grew up in the country 7 miles from the closest city… for some reason almost every one of the country boys that rode our bus were pathological liars. Man, they told some SHIT. Like how they saw a dead body stuck to a wall in an abandoned house and the nail that was holding him up suddenly shot out at them. One kid claimed he “could beat Michael Jordan [at basketball..or, well, anything] if he really tried”. They never grew up mentally, really. This one dude told us a story about a hot girl inviting him over after asking for a cup of sugar. He lifted up the back of his shirt to show us “the sex scratches”. To this day, I cant fathom the measures that the fat fuck went through to create those scratches. 

I asked that fat fuck why he was using his brand new Milenko shirt for gym clothes at school. “Cus,” he said, “they’re not real metal.” I wasnt aware that they were trying to be.

I think it’s the isolation of being in a rural era that encourages these larger than life stories from some people. Most come down to the city and it’s like they try way to hard to fit in. Its odd. But what do you expect when They’re only outlet is the internet….and farmers dot com.
