As for new jokers card, i speculate the january video thingy, violent j will tell us that more info (face reveal) will happen at juggalo day or the gathering or the march.

That means maybe a 2018 release or at earliest would be oct 2017

I do that with albums sometimes too. I’m not listening to Lex’s album again for another 2 months because the element of freshness is now gone.
G-Mo’s album is good though.  

Somewhat opposite for me. I’ve been listening to Lex’s album so much I haven’t even opened G-Mo’s yet. Contact has yet to come out of my CD player. I have a soft spot for that New York shit though.

I think he was having writers block for that concept.  this whole blazhay chapter of his life has prolly distracted his mood from being all happy and peaceful. not to mention the young wicked thing. 

I speculate this is the reason why we got no tmml found music videos. his diamond rain has stopped, but i like to perceive it as the eye of the diamond hurricane. i bet he will do a solo but it will be dark. people will give him shit cuz it was supposed to be a more positive album. it might even be a solo album release similar to tmml or the wraith with 2 opposite perspectives.  

It’s unlikely that we would ever see a ‘dark’ solo record from Violent J. Ironically,  The Duke of the Wicked doesn’t have much of a taste for the wicked shit, as evidenced by his dislike of the Lotus albums and his waxing emotional whenever he talks of the hardships of writing for darker albums. It’s a shame, really, because he has the capacity to craft really competent horror stories. I would dig the fuck out of an album of all songs with the same spooky mistique as the old sideshow EPs, but I doubt it will happen. ICP in general, and Violent J especially have lately shown a proclivity towards feel good, sing songy types of music with the odd ‘wicked shit’ track in there as an almost obligatory dressing for their albums.

I love the Wicked Shit, don’t get me wrong. But the happy-friendly positive shit vibes more with me these days. J spits the good vibes so well. “Shiny Diamonds” is a perfect example of this.
