so he interrupted him? wow, that doesnt happen on every talk radio show when someone really wants to make a point...

it's lowkey annoying how Neil cant just have conversation & instantly goes into debunk mode but in his defense those are probably the majority of the questions he's asked..

as far as the Sara thing.. he doesnt realize he's sitting next to a dumb airhead & most likely thinks since she was sitting in front of a mic, naturally she would be involved in the conversations prior to him being there (which she wasn't)..

Neil was absolutely, 100% not disrespecting Violent J. He took more of an interest in J than he does with most people, and vice versa.

He always interrupts; usually because he has the most intelligent shit to say. I truly enjoyed the experience.

"We rap. We throw soda. I got a 9th grade education" - Violent J, the epitome of humility.

Neil also seemed amazed that J, someone who has sued the government, somehow believes in their competency.

Neil seems overly logical, with little to no whimsical thoughts. He was likely the kid who told everyone Santa wasn't real and probably with no malice.

If Neil De Grasse Tyson has any failing (and he does, being a fellow human), it is this. But it seems obvious that he is aware of his "lack of whimsy".

He approaches every encounter through the lens of his profession and experience.

Only his closest friends, if they were to be so lucky, will ever hear what the man truly feels about certain "unimaginable" and "unquantifiable" things.
