i felt Shugston Brooks scrubstitute & the swollen collab shouldve all been on mdp
i prolly wouldve listened to it more than just once by now
tbh I wasn't really impressed with Scrubstitute Teacher…i mean it wasnt a terrible song just didnt think it would have belonged on the main album…also IMO Madrox's verse that they play on the outtakes is better than the verse he decided to go with on the final version…Shugston Brooks and Lost in the Music definitely though…top quality tracks just not sure if they would have fit in with the concept/structuring of the rest of the album…fuck putting Up Ya Ass on the album…it was funny and all but no…Birthday Song as well though I could hear that on the main album more than Up Ya Ass (unless they kept Up Ya Ass as an interlude at the end of a song or something I wouldnt dig it)…Playing in the Woods is cool but same thing idk how it woulda fit in with the main albums structuring and sound

Up Ya Ass: Originally recorded for the Mighty Death Pop's main album, but left off the final lineup in place of “Dog Catchers”. The biggest reason was while ICP felt both songs were short and unusual sounding enough, which was the goal, the fact was that Dog the Bounty Huntin Bigot deserved a lyrical ass-whippin from the Wicked Clowns more than anything else. Besides that, they agreed that “Dog Catchers” was a better song all the way around anyway. “Up Ya Ass” is a cool little ditty, but is it cool enough to make the 2nd card of the 2nd hand? We think not.
Birfday Party: This song was originally meant to be a crazy-fresh collabo with bomb-ass NYC rap act Das Racist. Once they were told the song's concept, Das Racist's management informed ICP that one of their members (Kool A.D.) wasn't feeling the song at all. His partner Heems was down to do it though, so much love to him! MCL Heems. ICP ended up finishing the song their damn selves. Happy with the fresh outcome, Mike E. Clark decided to include it on the Extra Pop Emporium. ICP loves this song's concept. A ninja would really have to have experienced something similar to what the song is about to fully respect it. This song is proof that the Wicked Clowns truly ain't afraid to rap about anything they want. Whether it's shallow, deep, meaningful, meaningless, real or fake, they have no restrictions when it comes to creating freshness.
Playin in the Woods: Originally recorded for “The Mighty Death Pop” main album, this song stayed on the final track listing up until the last minute, but was suddenly replaced with “Hate Her To Death”. This was not the most popular decision within the ICP camp, as many ninjas still debate over which of the 2 songs better belongs on the main album. They all took a vote and the decision stands. If you think about it, the idea of a creepy, naked lunatic all by himself in the dark forest in the middle of the night is pretty fuckin wicked. Side note: Although she was much too young to understand the songs scary words, Violent J's daughter Ruby loved this jam and wanted it played over and over during long car rides.

And what of the fate of Shugston Brooks 1959-2004?

The White Pop extra Pop isn't all that. Red Pop is the best buy.
There isn't one song on extra pop that would make the main album better or even fits with the flow. Not even the remix unless you put all the remixes on there. Then we would have Bang Pow Boom 2, bunch of random songs on a cd and calling it a jokers card.
