Lets make this clear once and for all.

Anybody that disses AMB can’t come to the mall with us to hang out in front of the hot topic with our faces painted.

This literally made me LOL…Im switzerland on the whole thing…I feel bad for them when they get shit pelted at them…but I don’t particularly like their music…but Twiztidkillaxxx2 likes Otis…and hes my internet ninja…so there ya go….

Man, it’s me in my gothic trip pants and riddle box shirt face painted like the Boondox as I say depressing bullshit. Pat Joyce with his favorite AMB shirt and face painted like ABK starting shit with the jock kids until they come to fight us and we all run away to get more juggalos. (basically just us running away) Randy Gall in his Phatso t shirt, the one with Jamie Madrox eating a ton of burgers with his face painted like Violent J always bitching and begging people for a bite of their food at the food court, he always takes the left overs of shit people leave laying on the table. Almighty Smack in his prized Mirror Mirror jersey with his face painted like OG twiztid panda paint and his Twiztid charm and his Mostasteless hoodie bumping the same 5 Twiztid songs from his boombox; We Don’t Die, Afraid Of Me, Story Of Our Lives, Rock The Dead, and DieMothafuckaDie. We used to have Scruffy and Wonka too, they used to sell drugs from their trench coats. Wonka used to play “Goodbye Horses” all the time and scare away the public as he talked about getting pussy, he’s a meth head now. Scruffy used to always wear a backwards cap, he never really said much, but when he did he had the gall to try and give us insightful and wise advice. That juffalo eventually got a (gasp) job! We feel betrayed. Especially since he never gives us any money when we beg him for money. Except that one time when we all decided to share that faygo. Randy drank it all. Pat got pissed off and went home to bitch to his mom. His mom ended up buying him two new shirts, a charm, and a whole case of faygo.

Oh, and Chucklz hangs out with us too, to bust his dope flows. Man, that guy is going to be the next big juggalo rapper. Psy needs to sign him.

that big post up there, number 50.

i give this post a solid 8.

it wouldve been 8.5, possibly a 9, if youd taken the trouble to obnoxiously tag everybody.

whats really funny about it to me, is that i know enough juggalos that i can easily swap a few names out, and the story changes from satire to documentary.

I wish juggalos hung out at my mall like that. At least then there’d be juggalos in my area that I know.

We hung out at the parks. And we piss off this roof on people biking.  Giving juggalos a good name. Your welcome.  I don’t do that anymore though.

I have a pretty serious issue with groups who, before ever signing with Psy, cater strictly to Juggalos.

When you sign, I get it. You’re on a label started by ICP, you’re selling to that fanbase, and, hell, Violent J calls so many shots you’ll never make it if you don’t. I completely understand this.

But there’s something that sits so, so wrong with me when a group starts out all facepaint-and-whoopwhoop. The word “LEECH’ leaps immediately to mind. “Say, we’re not talented or innovative enough to cultivate our own fanbase based on our own unique style and incorporating people from various walks of life and musical tastes. Good thing ICP set one up for us already. WHOOP WHOOP!”

Take KMK. I know, especially as of late, there’s plenty to dislike about them. But one thing I’ve always respected is that they made their OWN fanbase. They said “Hey, we’re a group of stoners from So-Cal, we mix some punk rock, some hip-hop, and some psychedelic chill jams, and if you can get down with that, we’re down with you.” They have a fanbase that INCLUDES Juggalos, but isn’t limited to them. They also have punk kids, skaters, and a pretty wide variety of stoned fans. (Or, at least, they used to. God knows what they have at this point.) Same with Tech: Juggalos are INCLUDED in his fanbase, but he certainly doesn’t ONLY cater to them.

Whereas Otis and Bonez said “Hey, we’re two Juggalos who took our name from a Shaggy 2 Dope lyric and do the same horrorcore shtick as everyone else in the underground. Whoop Whoop, ninjas, buy our CD’s!”

That’s why I can’t get behind these guys. For the same reason I can’t get behind the endless barrage of guys in facepaint with names like “WiCkEd JoKeR BoYz” or “Kryptic” who throw samplers at me at the Gathering. (And, for the record, I’m not calling out any “Kryptic” in particular; I’ve gotten samplers from something like seven of them.)

Well, that and the fact that I think their music sounds like flatulence escaping the rectum of a walrus with a serious case of food poisoning, but you know, that’s subjective.

I agree with the juggalo part. I don’t think they should cater to juggalos at all. Especially since juggalos are so split up about them. Drop the shtick, because if they have any gimmick it’s them being juggalos as their gimmick and that’s just lame.

But they must be doing something right if they stir up this large of a response. Notice how more people are talking about AMB then they are the new Lotus album? That says something. Whether good or bad, it’s recognition.

well the lotus news is 2 weeks old already.. but yeah i agree that aiming strictly for a juggalo demographic is weak but theyve def expanded since their young days which is understandable imo.. ninjas forget they were still kids when they 1st signed… their music could def appeal to a larger demographic.. prob more-so than most psy artist.. but yeah i kinda agree with the dropping the schtick.. but i feel its too late now especially resigning to psy.. but i was def surprised they continued to ride so hard prior..

Yeah, it’s not like they could just change their name now and shit. They have grown a ton from the basic evangelic murders with gimmicky juggalo style songs from Forbidden Forrest to the more personalized and mature shit they do today.

I’m not sure this is a “large” response. You have to remember, we don’t have the largest, nor the most inclusive, sample size. On one forum, a fairly limited number of members are talking about it, wherein they are divided on their opinion. On a forum where, if anyplace, there would be more interest in/support for them.
